PGR2 cheats

I've read that there is a cheat for this game that unlocks everything.....apparantly you type in Tal as you8r name. I have completed this game already and want to try this cheat so that I can try some of the faster cars on the Sydney tracks but I can't get the cheat to work....can anyone confirm that this cheat actually works?
