All of my other games are fine except for this one. One day it said it could not read it and it might be a dvd or it might be dirty or damaged. I always set all my discs on top of my xbox for about a day then put it back. I dont see how it could have damaged it cause I do that with all of my discs and that is the only one that is messed. Then it just kept getting worse and worse. It used to be like 1 out of 10 times I put the disc in the xbox it would do that, then 2 out of 3 times now it hardly works. I looked at the bottom a couple months ago and you could barely see anything but when you looked closer it was a little scratched up. Now all of a sudden it has all of these little scratches on it and I have been putting it in the case. It says it cant read it but then when it does read it and the game comes on I have absolutly no trouble while I'm playing it. This is my only game that is like this except for hitman 2 which I bought pre-owned and it was like that when I bought it. Anyways when I go back to Ohio my friend says he has one of those disc cleaners and he says it actually works. So when I go up there maybe I will get it fixed. But untill then I will be playing a lot of Halo and Ghost Recon Island Thunder. Maybe splinter cell and I dont think anybody here has SOF2 or Star wars jedi academy.

Don't some xbox's scratch the discs up? Because someone here posted that he put it in his friends xbox and it screwed the disc up. I put toothpaste on my discs that don't work and it works good.

That was Yankeez and it was from a defected Limited Edition Halo Xbox - but there hasn't been enough people that I've seen of that have had this happen to that would even draw attention for me to be concerned.
I use a dry Q-Tip and put it in the slot to clean the lens...you'd be surprised how dirty it comes out sometimes.
Butterz- little note - leaving a disk on your Xbox for a day will cause it to get dust on it, unless you're in some special clean-air room - put it in the box as soon as you pull it out, and you'll be safe. That dust will accumulate and then once you put it in your Xbox, it could transfer onto the DVD lens, just some advice.

Took it apart, put rubbing alcohol on the q-tip, then wiped the lens. :hail:
