Can´t connect to xbox live

hi there
i´m having some problems connecting to xbl...

i´m trying to share my internet connection(my modem is usb based) with an xbox using window´s icc.when i click on connect says: "network error" then in the connect window says: xbox live not found.why this happen?

Who's your ISP?

Have you been able to connect to live in the past or are you just starting?

What does the troubleshooter tell you?
