In the underground world of Fight Club, the fight isn't over until someone goes limp, taps out, or is beaten. You will be engrossed in this gritty, visceral world by fighting as one of the many characters from the gripping film.

Fight Club, a "no-holds-barred" fighting game, will portray the brutality of street fighting while encompassing the action and story elements from the movie with intense visuals, untraditional moves, and bare-knuckle destruction.

Today, Vivendi Universal Games launched the Fight Club website featuring new screens of the game.

If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.

Fight Club will be available in October 2004 for Xbox and PlayStation 2 with an expected ESRB Mature rating.

Graphics look pretty slick.

The 2 big questions on my mind about this game are will it be live and will there be missions to complete like the ones in the movie.

Edit: Just noticed this is in the wrong forum. Sorry, move it!

Lol, I was like WTF? when I saw this thread.

The game does look good, but one thing I don't not understand is why the game is licensed from Fight Club. I love that movie, don't get me wrong, but it came out like 3-4 years ago. A little late if you ask me.

The movie has a cult following. I'm sure some people here at XBA even are big time fans of the movie. It's a classic.

Bleh, don't like it. Looks like a lame use of the Fight Club name to sell some games. The movie wasn't about people beating eachother up. This is like making a basketball game and calling it American History X.

I was playing one of the developers at E3 and i asked him why is it just coming out now, and he said that the movie has a big fan following and that the technology is finally available to make it as close to the movie as it can get. the game is great but i dont think its worth it for me to buy any fighting game because ill get bored of it real fast, its cool how your character can die in the story mode. you have to tap out in fights if yur too hurt and if u dont thell beat you to death. and the arms and legs and you back can break in the game, if your arm breaks you cant use it and you slow down because you holding it with you other hand.
