Like on GTA you could go from city to city and just do what you want without doing the missions, is red dead revolver a free roaming game too? please help!

If you're lookin for a good western you might want to wait for darkwatch. http://www.sammystudios.com/

It's not at all like GTA, it's very linear. I would only recommend if you are into that type of genre (old western), otherwise only worth a rental IMO.

Yeah, fun game, not like GTA at all.

The game itself is only about 8 hours long. There is an extra bounty hunter mode which adds a little replay, but all it is is doing the same missions w/ an added objective such as point score or low time.

I really liked the game, but very linear (the only "free roam" in the town is pretty underwheliming), and I just generally don't play the same game over and over. It is one that might be worth another play through after unlocking the highest difficulty setting. Still though, you could do all that in a rental period if you wanted.

-edit- the MP, isn't bad, but nothing special (not live)

Yeah this is like the 3rd time rockstar has put out crap since GTA 3 and yet the game sells like hotcakes. Remeber State of Emergency?
