PSOquest(one of my most visited websites) is being shutdown until July!! Is any1 else that uses it annoyed about this? You may noy think its much of a thing but i use this site ALL THE TIME! And if any1 knows a similar site i can use until July then plz tell me.

I wondered what was going on with my favorite PSO site. I have been going to PSOWorld (http://www.planetdreamcast.com/psoworld/) instead as it seems to have a lot of the same info. It is a little harder to navigate though but after you've been there a few times you get the hang of things. :cool:

PSO World has also been around longer (since the orginal game for Dreamcast). I haven't been playing PSO like I used to back on Dreamcast. Episode 3 is only fun for awhile and it gets boring pretty fast.

It is a very cool game so it does not surprise me that people still play it. It's just that most gamers now-a-days only play a game for a short time after release then they move on to some new bigger badder game never to play the older game again. Some gamers like myself can't afford to go out and buy new games all the time so we have to be happy playing the games we have. :D

Yea i play pso here and there but i can only hope that PSU (Phantasy Star Universe) can actually bring and hold new peoples

Alrighty, am I missing something about this game? I downloaded the Japanese beta of Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, and I die. All the time. Can you block in this game? If not, then screw it. I die in three hits, and I can't block, waves of enemies come, and I can't kill them because I can't block or anything.

You can't block on your own, but if you have strong armor/shield and good defense you are more likely to block attacks.

Plus the PC verison of PSO really sucks because it is full of cheaters and hackers.

As for Episode 3's card battleing system at first glance I thought it looked stupid too, but it's actually pretty damn fun. It plays out more like a game of chess then a card game. It still gets old after a couple of months.

I pray that PSU is an MMORPG and it will use an upgraded verison of the orginal PSO battle system.

If that's the case, what am I supposed to do with a melee character? Also, I don't care if it's full of cheaters and hackers, I know that, I'm just bored at the moment, and feel like playing something new.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm gonna have to find something else, because PSOBB got boring fast as soon as I made a ranged guy. Not once did I get hit in the half hour I played. I didn't even get approached by a guy because the game is so buggy.
