Fable : The Will Compendium

One of the best kept secrets in the world of Fable has been that of Will. From the very beginning we’ve been teased with hints from the developers, who’d then laugh when we ran around the forums like headless chickens eagerly trying to analyse every snippet of information that they threw our way.

Alter Ego is pleased to announce that we’re about to start changing all of that. By the time Fable comes out in a few months time, we think that you’ll know enough about every aspect of the game to have already planned your first journey through it. Now’s the time to help you along that path, because we’ve used our cunning and clever mind control powers to trick Sam into giving us information on one of the Will powers each week.

The first is Enflame, a spell that causes massive destruction once you become powerful enough. You should go and read about it.

Maybe this will be the first RPG I actually choose to become a mage. :D

Yeah, I don't usually go the mage route, either. But look at that screen! Obviously a higher tier Enflame in action. I imagine my character will be pretty scrawny, as I plan on going the thief/archer/mage route. But then again, w/ the way I've been playing in shooters lately, I might just go w/ the axe-wielding battlemage instead.

soccer with decapitated heads huh? thats pretty unique, don't imagine I'll be doing much of it but its kinda cool anyways. :)

not crazy about the gay marriage thing, seems like its everywhere, but you don't have to, which is good because the first guy that hits on me is gonna get a really short haircut, then maybe he'll care to play a game of soccer with me????

halos and horns is a very stupid (kiddish) aspect....but i am speachless among everything else (i hate soccer, but i can see where a head wojuld be morei nteresting than a ball)

Yep, they're still in. Check the FAQ (http://alterego.lionhead.net/info/faq.php) out, as it's updated as of last week and everything in the FAQ (http://alterego.lionhead.net/info/faq.php) is 90% sure to be in the game. Apparently, you only get the halo/horns if you are very, very, VERY good/evil. New additions have a blue note next to the question, so ya know.

Also, if you guys check out the Will Compendium, two new spells have made it in: Slowtime (http://alterego.lionhead.net/info/compendium4.php) and Lightning (http://alterego.lionhead.net//info/compendium3.php).

Alrighty, my fellow Fable fanatics. Another update to the Compendium.

I believe we've seen this in a vid or two, but good to know it's still in the game. I plan on Hulking-out on some baddies whenever my ranger/thief is getting in over his head in a fight.
