When you play Halo 2's Campaign, what mode are you going to start off with?

I'm curious, dudes...what mode are you guys going to start the Campaign off with when beginning your Halo 2 adventure?

Since the first Halo had "Easy", "Normal", "Heroic", and "Legendary", those are the choices in this poll, despite any confirmation of what modes will be in Halo 2's Campaign. It's my strong assumption that it will be the same or very similar. With that in mind, what do you guys plan on doing...honestly?!

Heroic at first until I get a handle on the new stuff, then I'll switch back to legendary. The covenent are supposed to be top notch in Halo 2, so we'll see what happens.

Yeah...though, I expect it to be more challenging due to the fact that the A.I. is supposed to be beefed up. But, I welcome the challenge...When I beat Halo 2 on Legendary, I want to know that I saw the longest ending the first time around.

I recently beat the first Halo's Legendary (again) and it was fun as hell, as always. I think I died about 8 times through the entire game, which I didn't think was too bad. Probably my personal record.

I'll definetly start on Normal. Once im done with that Ill spend months on XBL, and when I get really bored of XBL, or the sudden urge to play campaign, then I'll beat it on legendary.

Unlike you dudes, I am starting on the easiest difficulty, and advancing up to the top. I honestly want to see how the AI changes for each difficulty, and I also want to play on the easiest difficulty so I can get done faster and learn the story. :)

Halo's normal difficulty is way too easy I thought, I hardly had any trouble beating it the first time because it took no strategy at all. I hope they make the difficulties a lot harder this time around, it makes the game MORE FUN :)

i'll do normal to start with though i'll definately hit legendary sometime. I've never finished legendary solo in halo 1, although i've finished 4 or 5 times on co-op. I'm actually about halfway through legendary solo right now, but haven't played in about 3 months due to being gone so much lately.

Normal, and if that's too easy, I'll switch it up to Heroic (my favorite mode in the first). I'm w/ the 'want to know the story' bunch. Xbox Live will probably kill any chances of me ever really getting too deep into Legendary.

I´m gonna do what I think is the best, start on Normal and get a hold of what the game has turned into. Then, of course, I´ll try to stuff every damed covenant with bullets or whatever is at hand :D

Normal for me, just to get the hang of it, then work my way up after each time I complete it again. That way, after I've done it on Legandary, I can finish off the game with at my leasure, doing crazy assed things and seeing what's possible and what's not on easy.

I started on easy on Halo 1, and it really didn't go to well in my first multiplayer games as everyone else started on Normal. So this way I won't be so handicaped in my LAN Parties and stuff.

I would like to start up on Legandary but it might be a little to frustrating and I'd be pissed off with the game already. Heh..

MUCH more satisfying, and the ending was funny...i didn't even know the ending would be different...or funny.

I completely forgot about live, however. I do wanna know the story, i do want it to be hard and satisfying, but i do want to go on live....

I have no idea how im going to balance this out...

I think what I'll do is play the campaign on legendary, and when I get frustrated I'll jump on live, take out my anger there, and then continue on the campaign.

I barely got thru legendary in Halo:CE by myself, and with the improved AI in Halo 2, I will have to start on heroic-nice challenge, but nothing impossible.
Or, if I preorder Halo 2, I might just start right on legendary and try to be the first person to beat Halo 2 on legendary. (by myself, straight thru)
I can't wait to play H2, but...I have dial up right now-12.2 kbps, in fact. I will have to take money out of my bank account (I have a little over 500 fortunately) and open a DSL isp account, and get xbl. I can live without xbl now, but when H2 comes, I will have to have xbl. I can't wait for all the new features-Halo:CE's development was rushed, but look what the final product is. Halo2 will be done 'when it is ready' --and bungie has proven to be (in my opinion) the best developer I can think of. Can't wait for that dual weilding.

It will probably be a few weeks before I finish the campaign. IF anyone ruins the story for me while im online, ill go to my local mall and start beating up random kids until i am satisfied. Thats probably why i would stick to beating the game as fast as possible, and when online, only playing with friends i know...otherwise...theres gonna be a lot of bruised eleven year olds in Walnut, California.....

hmm, well im m aking a thread about who can beat it the fastest....on legendary. This will encourage poeple to play it on legendary first, that way they'll experience the game to its maximum potential the first time around. I like struggling really hard to see what the next plot point is, sdo this will be interesting at best...

I say easy so that I can get a hang of everything first(the weapons, new vehicles) and get used to the story without having to destroy my tv. Then I'll switch up to Heroic or Legendary.

Man, the more I read this thread, it makes me want to try it out on Normal first...but, then, I sit back and think how easy Legendary is on the first Halo since I gained a ton of skill in the multi-player part of the game that improved my Campaign experience...and I still think that starting out on Legendary is the best way to go for me.

lol...no way...If the gameplay in Halo 2 is anything like the first Halo, I'm sure I'll be fine. Yes, it will be a challenge...I'd be lying if I said it likely won't, but, give me two days and I will have it beat...that is if I'm not working long ass days since it comes out on a Tuesday :(
