Help or tips in halo,,,, (legendary)

I just got transported on to the covenant ship (the third level, i forgot the name) and I cant get past the room. The invisible gold guy is kickin my ass! I have the sniper rifle and the assault rifle (although i try to get rid of it whenever i can for the plasma gun) Any ideas?

when he runs at you, sidestep (strafe) and use the melee attack to his back, one hit kill. :)

Cool, i havent tried that yet cause i didnt think it would do anything. Im going to have to try that, thanx.

oh, the melee to the back attack works quite well, even in multiplayer, it works wonders. I like sneaking up behind snipers in the sniper towers in Sidewinder and knocking them out cold :)
