According to the video, this game is set to launch on both Xbox and PC in Feb. 2005, and comes with the standard upgrades; new weapons, new feats/powers, improved graphics, new characters, and a new story.

edit: Just saw this was on the front page :bang: . Oh well, this is for those of you who are too lazy to visit it :)

Meh, I enjoyed the first one, and will be picking up this one just because of that reason. I thought that demo was pretty boring, and didn't show me too much that interested me, I do like how the robes move now though.

See, THAT is a preview.... I LOVE seeing eveyrhting, like loading screens, UI, and REAL gameplay, not just CG.. Now I want this.... :)

I actually thought this demo was well done. I agree that it didn't show many new features or anything, but at least you can hear the guy talk, and see the game in action. Most demos all you can hear is mumbling.

I'll definitely be picking this game up.

I dunno, maybe. I hope they are both great, but latley I've been having my pre-release Fable doubts. I mean, what if it's a huge disapointment? I hope not, that would be terrible. I have been waiting for Fable since forever. Knights of the Old Republic was great, and KOTR 2 can only get better, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

It looks good, but it's basically KOTOR 1.5 since it will be on the same engine and even use a lot of the same textures and graphics. I'll still get it though.

BTW, unless my media player was messing up, I can say with about certainty that the color scheme for the menu was teh g@y.

Fable will ROCK! There is no doubt! I was planning to buy the first KOTOR this month, but after this video I'm not so sure I should spend my money on it! But I'm sure that Fable will kick KOTOR2's ass! :hump:

the demo was wwell done, but the game doesn tlook all that impressive. theres still a long ways to go, and im sure it best aspect, much like the first one, will be its story.


Jade empire look samazing, but we know nothing of the story...

well, very little. And fable, you basically make the story up as you go.



all seem like very good rpg's. i guess sudeki should hold me over till fable. and fable kotor 2, and kotor 2 till jade.

i really hope fable isnt a let down, but goddamn, if it didnt receive unbeleivable hype for almost 4 years it wouldnt be a let down.

For some reason I have to disagree. Fable may not be as good as it's hyped to be, maybe it will be, either way, it will still be a great game. There is no way in hell with everything we already know about it that it can possibly be a crappy game. No way in hell.

I doubt that. KOTOR 2 will basically be the same game as KOTOR I (not that there's anything wrong with that; it's just not groundbreaking) with a different story. The other changes to the game are pretty superficial. So while KOTOR II will be a great game, it's impossible for it to be significantly better than KOTOR I.

Fable, however, is introducing brand new concepts to the RPG.

I must have this game. I thought it was going to be Feb. 2005, if they say Winter 2004 that might be it would be here for Christmas.

Alpha, this video deserves its own thread. I'll give you 24 hours before I'm going to make a new thread for this video(while crediting you of course).
