Fable Pre-Ordered? Get Your Bonus DVD!!!

Fable will be released in September 2004 for the US and October 2004 for Europe (stay tuned for specific dates). Placing a pre-order with your local gamesshop, or an online store will give you a bonus DVD*! These DVD's are available from 1st July onwards, so make sure you pick it up in the shop where you placed the order.

This DVD includes; Behind-the-scenes documentary • Interviews with the Fable creators, including Peter Molyneux • Never before seen footage of Fable • Playable demo of Sudeki and other Xbox exclusive titles.

I am mad because I live in bermuda I can't get this offer. So I was thinking is there anyway I can get it if I you don't pre-order the game.

Also I was thinking if somebody on this site that will per-order it and than after they have seed it a few time seen it to me for a fair price. plz hit me up. if interested.

Well, just got back w/ my copy, and all I can say is WOW. While there was nothing earth-shatteringly revealing in the video, just seeing the game on my TV, crisp and clean (unlike many of the vids online) was worth the pre-order alone. It looked so purty I just wanna cry.

And the Sudeki demo got me amped. Looks like it will be a blast, and ran smoother then I had hoped. The other demos are 'meh', at best, but I did dig the Amped 2 demo, and might just have to buy the game now. :p

But again, the video was very, very nice. A ton of in-game footage, and the sheer number of 'looks' the main character can have are stunning. I was particularly amused at how you can saunter up to a battle and jump into slashing heads. Even a quick bit showing a guy booting a chicken!!! As if I wasn't pumped before. Anybody whose got questions or comments about the video, just drop a post here.

Now for a second viewing.... :cool:

I asked in game impressions, but haven't got an answer yet, so how is the combat and control in Sudeki? You know i wanna know :)

Also, i wouldn't buy amped 2, got boring pretty fast for me.

Finally, were the Fable gameplay vids on the disc the same that have been on game trailer sites? Or were there some exclusive to the disk?

Check the Sudeki thread again. I wrote my impressions there.

The gameplay in the Fable DVD looked like all new stuff to me. But really, the clarity might have made it seem so. I'm really impressed by the graphics, and some of the weapons and such were just awesome. Combat looked like it would be a blast, and there were some good shots of characters w/ their faces all marred up, pre-scarification. Magic...or sorry, Will spells looked particularly nice. Fireballs, lightning, the Berserk Will spell, all of them were very impressive. One think I noticed is that there was no mention of how conversation works, and none of the shots showed the HUD at all. Not once.

But all in all, excellent stuff. Just holding the case makes me wish September would hurry it's ass up so I can get my Fable on...

Oh man thrAsher-XBA you are really making get really excited when you started to talk about how you can saunter up to a battle and jump into slashing heads. Why they didn't make September in front of August so it can go like this June, July, September, August. hahaha :confused:
