Secrets of Fable

I heard that the are TONS AND TONS of Easter Eggs in Fable. Some people say there re 200 secrets or more than 100. But thats A ****LOAD of secrets dudes. WHat kind of easter eggs will this game have? Hmm..intresting. Wonder how they make those secrets.

Well, Gene Carter (Lead Developer/Programmer for Fable) did say in the Fable Bonus DVD that he hopes people go out and try and find all the secrets they put in the game. That makes me think there are at least 3 or 4...some possibly mini-games, others items or just funny moments/quests. Who knows, though?

I would guess that there are hundreds of easter eggs, that seems like a lot, but its a huge game and most people will probably never find. I can't wait to get ahold of it, but I guess I can wait another 2 months. :cry:

the thing that kills me is simply this..."how will you know when u encounter a secret!?" I hopt it says some thing like "congratulations u just found (whatever it is u've found) yay!" but ne ways, i have to go kill myself now, or at least freeze myself until fable comes out, because i can't wait ne longer!

As far as 'how will I know if I found an Easter egg'...if the guys at BBB do their job, it should be self-evident. That is to say, if you find a Big Blue Box buried by some tree somewhere, and you open it only to find a scroll w/ the Lionhead logo on it, then you're in Easter egg land. Hopefully they won't be quite as lame as the one I just suggested, though.

I never considered actually finding easter eggs as a physical task within the game, I always considered it like it was in Halo, you just notice some things and find out their significance, you know initials, stuff like that. I like your idea better though.

Unless said scroll contained the secret to owning a town...I think I remember reading a lil tease about the possibility of owning a town, if you could figure out how. Or maybe, and stay with me here, an actual Easter Egg, all the pretty colours. That'd be awesome.

Its probably hundred of secret weapons and a few mini games would be sweet. Finding the best weapon in the game right off the start would be fun.

No it wouldn't... Then you could just wipe everything out easily. I'd rather have to build up my skills. After all, that's what an RPG is about. Role-Playing. That, or hacking, slashing, and lots of blood.

Oompa Loompas will swarm out and attack you while singing a demonic song about Easter. The evil Sandgoose, whatever that may be, will also be attacking you. If you manage to escape you will be rewarded with a golden egg containing your secret.

This game is gonna be awesome, but I don't want to know nothing about any easter eggs. I just want to figure them out myself. Unless it's like Tony said and no message tells you that it is a secret.

Didn't Morrowind do that or something? Cause I found lots of secrets in that game and can't remember if it had a message or not.
