NCAA 2005 Online

Has anybody tried the online play yet? I cannot wait to get home and Fire up the Box. If so, has anybody tried the even matched teams??? I need to get some kind of advantage.

I've heard people are having lots of connection drops and problems with their friends list in the game right now.

Yea the IGN Review said those problems were supposed to be fixed by launch. HA!

Just played 2 games on Live - no problems what so ever - seems to be fixed now.

I had #1 prior to playing, Silver beat me (me - Navy at home, him - Army away - he won 30-3) , he took #1, I took #2 - then I re-challenged him (me - Miami away - him - Notre Dame @ home) and I had 2 defensive TD's that crushed him - beating him 21-11 - so I got #1 again - I love this game, and this ladder, it adds a nice twist to it.

Yeah whats up with ea's crappy a.s.s server??? I played one game and it was laggy as he.l.l. Then i couldnt connect back to the server.

man i was winning 13-0 in the 4th quarter 1 minute left and it disconnected me. ea live sucks but if it works good its fun. k bakeman me and you have to play. but how do we invite eachother? you cant look at your friendslist

Well for me the problem is on my end. My cable internet will disconnect me at seemingly random times and I end up getting a loss for that. I was down 7-0 in the 2nd quarter today and got the loss because I was disconnected. So I went to call Cox Cable about it and realized I lost my cell phone :( Terrible Day.

Yeah that sucks. I'm 14-7 instead I should be 14-3 if it weren't for disconnects (15-2 if you don't count the 20 yard field goal I missed for the win due to lag....i've missed like 10 extra point because of lag on kicks). However, I switched my ethernet cables (interchanged the one from the router to the modem and the one from the router to the comp) and I change my digital cable and cable internet cables and I haven't been disconnected in 24 hours. Yesterday I was 7-0, 5 of which were shut outs.

Well I returned my rented copy of NCAA2005 tonight and don't see any reason to purchase it. It's a shame because I really want a good NCAA football game, but it's not worth dealing with the fustration that comes with this thing.
