Awesome write-up. Nice to hear what people playing the game have to say.

Lionhead sure knows how to up the ante in the hype department, even for a game that's been salivated over for nearly half a decade.

My favorite lines:
His skillz pay the billz, his looks inspire books, and what does he do? What does he NOT do is more like it?!?.... He also likes chickens….especially kicking them!!
--Nathan Smethurst on his hero.
A fat hero is better than a dead one …remember that, and you won’t go far wrong in the world of Albion!
--Nathan Smethurst on surviving in Fable.
Final thoughts: My gamers, may I present to you - the sleeper of the summer, a game to surely captivate your mind, a game that will make your feet tap and your lips curl into a smile: "Fable." Believe all that you've heard. Go ahead and expect the best; "Fable" is awesome. You will not be disappointed. This is the summer game of 2004. Take care of yourself and each other.
--The comforting words of Jeff Brutus
“Never get stuck with one woman”. Fable taught me that well. If you don’t look after them they will just divorce you and take all of your money! Money that could’ve been much better spent on a sword. Guess I’ll just have to carry on using my stick then.
--Ted Timmins on mastering Fable.
I'm so excited to play this game.

Ya know, though, I do not envy these guys one bit. Sure, they get to play Fable now, but they don't get the 'virgin' experience w/ the game that all of us do. When it comes out, I'm sure some of these guys will be like, "Well, I'm never playing that damn game again. Not after playing it for the last year straight!"
But good insights into the gameplay. The kicking chickens comment was a highlite for me, too.

Great read, and so are all the articles on IGN (especially the evil one ;p)
I don't really like this line:
Chris Berry: There are many minor things that I would love to see in a possible sequel, but I won’t start going into that, or you’ll all be thinking about them as you play through the game for yourself! The game easily stands up on its own as it is, so they obviously aren’t too fundamental.
But hey...
