Since I have had my Xbox I have been left hungry with the lack of RPG's and I was looking around and PSO showed up I was like OMG and I wondering becouse the reveiws here that peep's write are not very detailed apart from the Staff, can you do what you want like theres islands and tasks and you make guilds/clans do what you want climb mountains and choose what you look like? Please someone tell me what it is like I was following TFO all the way then the ******S cancelled it after ll that time..... If fable gets cancelled witch I dont think it will but if it does just imagine the riot!!! my friend who is an RPG mad man says he going to buy an xbox, fable, 1 controller and a years supply of coffee, im sure there are many PS2 players and Gc players that are going to switch due to fable. anyhow I go on too much.

I wouldn't get it, just get Morrowind right now, Sudeki on the 23rd, then Fable on Sept 21.

Phantasy Star Online isn't very open ended, if at all, and it's not an MMORPG like most people think. I personally don't think it's that great of a game. Plus the fact that if you want to play online, after a two month trial, you have to pay per month, which is ridiculous, considering the game isn't an MMORPG. Just an online RPG.

So can you go where you want? paying has put me off but I can try for 2 months.

Not really, no. The game isn't open ended at all. You follow the quests and that's about it.

PSO is the or was the most addicting game of all time but on xbox its just boring because everyone uses hacks and its really not fun DON'T buy it

Buy it but find cool people to play with. I hear you on the whole hacks thing. I really don't get it. First, it makes the game non-fun when people deal thjousands a points of damage. Secondly, rares lose their value when they aren't actually rare.

I'm just hoping a true sequel rears its head someday for such a great and monumental game. On DC, it was totally my crack habit.

Word on the sequel thing. PSO Universe sounds like it may have some ungodly potential.
