Lack of New videos?

Well the beta is done and being played by quite a few Bungie & MS employees.

Why cant someone man up and leak some multiplayer footage? Why must it be such a secret?

Well I have 14 Halo 2 videos from E3 2004 alone, so I think there's plenty. :p

You know bungie, they like to keep as tight-liped as possible. I don't know why they have to be like this, specialy on the multiplayer front. I guess it means their are probably alot more surprises about that they want us to see on the 9th/11th.

What I'm concerned about is their marketing, I mean MS said their going to have one of the biggest market appeals ever. Halo 2 will sell itself, but come around November they have to start letting out some of the action footage right? For trailers, tv adds, ect. They do need to have some nice footage in there unseen before to wet our appeitite more.

My guess is they'll release one more video over the summer peroid, and then leave it till mid-october when they start rolling out the action :)

Do you guys read OXM and the free disk I just watched 9:30min of Multiplayer footage!!!!! They said that you can customise your armour to what you want with different logos and **** so that means CLANSUITS!!!! also the other side connat be Master Chiefs so there Elites out of the covanant and they do the same **** as the other team, there are bustable walls that you can shoot say somei peeps camping on a bridge you just walk under it shoot it with a rocket launcher and the bridge falls they die simple!!! This game is gonna rock big time ohhh yeeehhhhh. cant wait to custamise my armour also there wont be team death matches there is team mission too one side defends a flag the other attacks! there is also mines you can set down, I CANNOT WAIT TO BE AN ELITE!

They just showed what we saw from E3. What JJax means is something besides zanzibar. Can't we get 30secs here or there of a different map. I don't think it's too much to ask.

I highly doubt watching 1 minute clips of new multiplayer maps will reveal tactics and spoil the fun...

No you're not. It's not like they are showing us complete levels anyways. All we have seen are builds of the game that are more ancient and outdated than you can imagine. The final version of the game will look so much better on such a radical level than anything we have seen so far. Just wait.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Zero....I mean, what we have seen with Zanzibar is only a taste of what the final version will look like...and probably play like.

Oh, and Mercenary...by the way, it's not confirmed that Spartans can only fight against Elites in Team Slayer...that is only one mode they showed in the video (in this case assault CTF)...it doesn't mean that Spartans can't battle other Spartans...like Blue vs Red. I don't know if you know this, since you are pretty new, but, Halo 2 is also going to feature multiple team play Team Slayer. So, imagine playing 2 versus 2 versus 2 versus 2...and having a Blue team, a Red team, a Gold team, and a Green team, respectively, for example. It's going to rock!!

Also, I agree JJaX...we need more streams....Though, everytime I see the Zanzibar stream from E3, I salivate like the Mississippi :D

I've seen a 10 second clip of different multiplayer action streamed together. On Zanzibar of course though.

hmm. Well the date is coming soon enough that i wouldnt mind just seeing ads and teasers until launch date.

Hell, if i just saw text ads like the ones featured in the recent egm mags, id be just fine until nov. 9th.
