holy crap those are sweet. i've been on the fence about ESPN and Madden, but I think i am about to fall off onto ESPN's side. I really hope this game makes EA lose some sleep. I like Madden a lot, but I'd like to see the game taken down a few notches.

Graphics are looking like a next gen. Not only that but ESPN has been getting alot of respect from magazines and 2 of them rated ESPN better in terms of graphics and gameplay.

espn has always been a great title (as sega) as has madden. madden has typically crushed it with marketing. but this year the $19 price tag on espn might make it interesting. as a madden fan and an espn fan it makes it simple to just grab both when you're only throwing down $19. it will be interesting to see how the madden fanboys react if they bother to test out the espn at that low number. methinks will see some changes happening.

I like the status bars in the picture showing San Diego's QB's. One thing that has always bugged me is you know EXACTLY how good your players are. Still ,IMO, it's a little too much info. You have such a huge advantage over the computer in Franchise mode. You know exactly what you're getting and there's no chance of signing a huge contract with a player and they end up not living up to expectations. Sure their attributes deteriorate but that usually only has to do with them getting older and it doesnt happen in real time, they only update after the season. I also hope they fix the Super Bowl. There was really no big incentive to getting their and once you made it it didnt seem like the huge, massive event that it is in real life. Anyway I really get into Franchise mode so I hope there's a lot of improvements there.

Oh my god!!! is this holt givin props to espn??? Whats up holt, how have you been??? Havent seen you around here in a minute. I remember us havin serious debates between espn and Madden. Good to see you around, and still kickin. This maybe the year that VC takes the football crown: cheaper price, better graphics, gameplay, and early release, all madden have now is popularity. Now i wish that sega market this like it was runnin for presidency.

Man. Player faces & everything looks great. I can tell who they are even behind their facemasks. & this is all In-Game! D@mn... That's amazing. It's like ESPN Hockey only in Football. I hope it plays better than last years.

the verdict is in. got the game today. just starting to get to know it. so far so sweet. i love the runnign game in this. ive always hated it in madden. i swear i pass 9 times out of 10 in madden. anyway. so far so good on espn. the tackling feature is pretty nice. you can choose a crushing tackle or just a regular . nice little twist in case you're playing someone you need to crush. probably still rent madden at this poitn to compare but feeling good about the 20 bucks
