Very nice, although i'm weary about the game since it isn't being handled by bioware anymore.

They're using the exact same bad guys. Check out the out the bald guy... Kinda lame.

Alot of it is the same. Same graphics, same sound effects, same bad guys.... New story and force powers... enough for me.

People just don't seem to get this eh?

Anyway, I'm interested in this game, plus the fact that the robes actually look like robes now is a plus. But I'm wondering how, if at all, it'll utilize the story of the first game. I mean, becoming Darth Revan and unleashing the Sith Armada powered by the Star Forge was a pretty big deal...or Being Jedi Revan and defeating Malak and the Star Forge thus saving the galaxy. I don't think they can really just ignore that story can they? Or is it a sequel, that's not really a sequel?

KOTOR II takes place 5 years after KOTOR.

So Yes, it is a sequel.

Im sure they will come up with something that will get the players up to speed with what has happened since.

No, they are not. The founder of Obsidian used to work for Bioware some years ago. That is all.
