Well, all I can say is, rarely if never use the Assault Rifle...unless it's your only short distance weapon on hand.

Learn to master the pistol...remember, three shots in the head = kill.

Never forget to use grenades...if you have them, use them.

When equiped with the rocket launcher, get used to jumping in the air...and at the peak or so, shoot at the ground or any tangible obstacle that is nearest to your opponent (Ground is most common).

Never just stand in one spot...constantly move or you're toast if a Sniper spots you...

Learn to use hills and obstacles...playing offensively isn't always the best way to play...remember to keep yourself safe to minimize deaths.

Know where all the weapons are located, overshields, active cammo and health packs are on each map. This is extremely key! In fact, I think there are going to be a lot of "l33t n00bs" playing Halo 2 at first because of this reason...until they learn where everything and anything is, they'll be sitting ducks with amazing aim and ability.

Know where every warp gate (Damn, it's late, I can't believe I forgot the term - I'm referring to the green doors that put you somewhere else on a map) brings you and vice versa. This is so key that it's not even funny.

Hey Totten, watch those videos...you'll notice that those guys use grenades like it's part of their religion. This is so key...also, throwing them accurately is extremely important as well. Basically, if there is a doorway, and you turn your back to it, never turn your back without throwing a grenade that direction...also at portals, too... Your game will increase significantly with those methods.

I played PS 2PAC - {when he was in U.S. (another clan) }at the tournament I hosted and a bunch of others that were damn close to him. My friend who i beat by 15, lost by 12 to them, but i lost a little worse to them at damnation, they had control the whole game.
