Buy RS3 now or wait for Black Arrow?

I am looking to add another game to my Live collection and was about to get RS3, but I saw that Black Arrow is coming out in the next few days for the same price, should I hold off and get it instead?

it comes out at the first week of august and will only be 40$ and more ppl wil be playing BA than Rs3 anyway.

Yes hold off. RS3BA looks like its gonna crush all other XBL games(untill halo 2).

Yeah, you should really just wait for Black Arrow. Thats what I'm doing :). And its going to have all those new live features :) (like tournements, and clans!)

Thanks guys, waiting is pretty much what I planned on, but I didn't know if it was going to be a popular game right off the bat...Sounds like it will.

I better go hop on Ghost Recon and get practicing.

ghost recon isn't going to help at all with rainbow, they're very different. although ghost recon is still bomb!

Yeah, the tactics involved in RS3 are a lot different than what you would use in Ghost Recon. That is until you move into an urban combat or close quarter combat situation, and that doesn't happen too much in GR.
Even the multiplayer games in Ghost Recon differ heavily, as in GR there is a lot more emphasis on sniper support and maps that utilize them then what you would find on RS3. But RS3 dominates in the close quarter engagements. Playing GR would most likely just get you used to just playing an FPS where one shot kills you.

Wait until Black Arrow comes out because like said before there's going to be a lot of sweet changes coming out like more Live 3.0 features and improved game play areas, specifically in the team survival matches. According to my interview with Ubi-Soft, they fixed that be-damned lean glitch.

LOL, yeah it took them 3 patches for that claim to be true in the PC version of the game, I seriously hope it's true here as I am planning on picking this one up.

I'm going to keep my copy of Rainbow Six: Three and trade it later for something else. I've already put Black Arrow on pre-order and I really don't think I'm going to go back. It was like Ghost Recon. I haven't played it when I bought Island Thunder, and my favorite GR map - The Embassy is on GRIT for multiplayer. So it's the same deal, with old maps reappearing on Black Arrow.
But I think I need to trade it in pretty soon because Rainbow Six will most likely become a Platinum Hit and thus reducing the trade in value.

Yup, I remember. I signed up after that match. I'm thinking I'll bring Rianbow Six with me to the city today. Maybe Ghost Recon too. I know they aren't the same game, but I havn't played Recon since I got Rainbow, and I'm sure after I get Black Arrow, I won't be playing Rainbow. Terrible cycles.

I actually went ahead and rented RS3 first, and loved it, so I decided to buy it today. Also today, I rented Black Arrow since I ended up liking RS3 way more than I thought. I'm liking it so far.

As for me, I'm planning to own both. The reason is my friends are divided between both copies, so it's best to get both for me IMO. I just need to improve my skills since I'm a noob at online FPS.
