I believe so. I'm seriously considering buying a PS2 just because they have a huge library of RPGs. With Sudeki being such a let down, and Fable still a little ways away, I might just spring for a Playstation. Not to mention that even w/ Jade Empire and Citizen Zero coming in the future, the Xbox is just anti-RPG IMO. Figure I can trade my PSO and some games and get a good deal on a used PS2 at Gamestop, and have some cash to pick up a couple of good RPGs.
So, I'm asking, you guys got any recommendations on PS2 roleplaying games that A) are loooong (50+ hours) B) have decent graphics, and C) uhmmmm, kick ass.

Darkside mentioned the better of them.
But Disgaea, La Pucelle Tactics will be endless games if you like tactic style.

So, Front Mission 4 is a RPG? Awesome. And Disgaea and La Pucelle are games I've definitely heard of. Love tactical RPGs. I've been playing the hell out of Fire Emblem on my GBA again lately.

also Wild ARMs is a good series.
and if you want to make your own you could buy RPG Maker 2.

I agree with FFX, not sure about FFX-2 though. I played it a while back when my brother owned a PS2. I rented it, and I couldn't put it down. I liked it more than FF7.

Agree with you that MS Xbox is a little bit out of RPG.

Well some good RPGs I like are Wild Arms, Dark Cloud, .Hack, and Final Fantasy.
But really Finaly Fantasy X and X-2 are the best RPGs out there for the PS2 imo.
