HOw do you? Win that is? With the exception of Casper I've recently gotten destroyed in games with 30-40 point differences. I still can't stop a pass to save my life, and on the other side of the ball I can't catch a pass to save my life. I'll throw to a guy who is wide open and by the time the ball gets there 4 defenders have already gotten there and it most likely results in an interception. I've been reduced to a running game which my opponent usually figures out and begins to stop with ease. I'm getting really frustrated with this damn game..

If you're talking about espn you need to know a little about football and what formations to run to counter passes and run plays. Try to run a zone if you suspect a pass, I like the 2 man zone also when i'm not sure. Try to run a man formation with someone bringing a blitz if you suspect the run. That's all I know to tell ya.
Now if you're talking about ncaa who still plays that game?

Yea I'm talking about ESPN. I know what defenses to call and all that ****, but seems like my DB's are always out of position or just flat out get burnt every single pass play.

Here's a tip for you, TRIR.
When on defense AWAYS wait until the offense has called their play before selecting yours. If they are calling a play with 3-5 wide receivers you should use a nickel or dime formation in most instances.
Always keep at least one safety deep and call heavy zones sparingly in favor of man coverage with one to three safeties.
If they are using an I formation or a play with only 1-2 wide receivers you would want to call a 4-3, 3-4 or Bear. Be careful of the Bear, it is subject to runs up the middle.
Also, this game seems to be momentum based so, start your passes short and then work into your deep passes.
I'm learning too, but I played 2k3 quite a bit and this version is head and shoulders above previous editions.
Good luck!
