New Maps?

Does anyone know when there are supposed to be new Downloadable maps? This was probably discussed billions and billions of times, but I haven't really looked. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard anything new about DLable maps, or if there won't be anything new until the HL2 series comes out.

u no what...that brings up someting in my mind and that something is why have we only gotten two DLable maps for counterstrike after almost a year of gaming...i mean within the same amount of time we have gotten 7 or 8 maps for R63...WTF is up...if we dont get new maps when all the new games comin out hit us i most likely wont play CS at all for an extremely long time.

I doubt we will see anymore maps for this game. It is a shame too as the PC has so many more maps then the Xbox version. The 2 maps we did get was not even download content as they were already on the disc and the 4k file you downloaded for each map just gave you access to it on the disc. They did the same thing with the RTCW maps and I'm sure other games.

Yeah it's pretty pathetic. With all the maps available for CS on the PC we only got 2 dl maps and that was RIGHT after the game was released. There is no excuse for it as they promised downloadable content after release. It's pathetic and valve/sierra and whoever else involved is pathetic and do not deserve, haven't earned our future business.

I agree. It's kinda sad that only 2 maps have come out in almost a year of having the game out...Especially considering the massive amount of maps that are on the PC version. They can't be that hard to port over.

You can pretty much be assured that Counter Strike was given up for the Xbox. It was the other day I noticed the game dropped to 19 bucks.
