Ok ladies, I should be able to get everything up and running tonight so I should be on Live. Anyone who wants an ass kicking at their game of choice should just take a number. Also, let me know what games I should try and get my grimy paws on. I should have SC:PT, R63, Links 2004, Counter Strike, and RaliSport Challenge 2. Let me know if there are others I should be running out to find tonight.

Get Black Arrow and trade in the old RS3 - I'm going to be getting it today, and should be on tonight with it - everyone was jamming on that game last night from what I saw.

Due to the response from this thread, I have just come back from the store with two new games, ESPN NFL 2K5 and R63:Black Arrow. If these games suck I am going to personally hold you two responsible. :D

So Casper, is shooting you in the back of the head going to be as fun in Black Arrow as it was in the first R63?

Nice choices, Chewy. I don't have Black Arrow yet. I didn't pre-order and my Wal-Mart is slow in getting new releases. Anyway, add me to you'r list. I should be getting it later tonight, and I already have 2K5.

P.S. I am teh ultra suX0rZ at ESPN (seriously) so if you want a good game, and some free wins, I'm the guy you wanna play. Just ask Casper, Sheeyt, Bret, Alpha, Peepers, and all the other people I've lost to.

Well man, I bought it at lunch, and have logged an amazing 10-15 minutes on it, so I am sure you should be able to pad your stats by playing me. I am just going to have to convince the wife that she doesn't want to watch TV tonight so I can play me some Xbox. Otherwise I will have to wait until she crashed to get my fix.

Well it has been fun. Here is how I see it. There isn't a one First Person Shooter on the Xbox that compares with what I play online on my computer. So Black Arrow is ok, and fun because I am playing with you guys, but it really isn't a great online shooter. After you have played something like Battlefield Vietnam, or Counter Strike, the lesser graphics show up. I thought Counter Strike would be the same as it was on the PC, but holy crap does it every blow on the Xbox. Maps are all linear, it just isn't 1/2 the game that the PC version is. I also very much prefer the mouse and keyboard for playing FPSs, but that is another debate.

ESPN NFL 2k5 however is another story. That game is off the freakin' hook man. Great gameplay, and the second you hook up with a friend and can play through a game talking with the mic, that is sweet. Absolutly the best football game I have ever played, and at that price, how can you go wrong.

So I should be able to keep this Xbox and Live for most of this week, so if you lads want to get your ass handed to you at just about any game, you just let me know.

p.s. - Thanks to everyone from the site who hooked up in the games with me, it was a blast.

I ran a couple of missions on the first RS3 with 101st_Airborne. It doesn't get anymore realistic than that.

You mean that run and gun isn't realistic Reclaimer? :p I would be up for that for sure. I played a bit more last night. I was managing to do ok, I am still trying to get used to that freakin' controller. With it I am the king of oversteer.

Of course what I really want to do is get a game of NFL 2k5 in against Peepers, but from what I can tell he is scared of me or something. We were playing Black Arrow last night and he kept saying he wanted to play me, but then would go quiet for a while. I think one time he even killed himself with a grenade. He must have just been so preoccupied with thinking up excuse to not play me. It was sad 'Claimer, very sad. It is very a sad thing to see someone like Peepers cowering behind his contoller..... :(

Oh well, I will just have to carry on.

Casper, I couldn't do that man. Some of the guys here look up to you, and if I was to smash you into the dirt without any effort that might just shatter their hero. I like the guys around here too much to do that to them. Maybe if I was to take lets say the Bengals, and you took an all star team then at least you would loose by only 14 pts or so and maybe things would be ok. I just don't want to crush all the XBAers dreams like that man, that would just be harsh. And besides, I hate hearing grown men crying into the mic.

Hey, at least you don't have to watch Ricky running for another team this year. Eddie in a Cowboy uniform brings tears to my eyes. :cry: This will just have to be a test to see how the first game of the REAL season is going to work out.

Face it, Eddie is going to run all over you. Zak will just have Eddie's boot print on his mug to make him look worse than he is. And then just to mix things up, Steve will throw deep. You won't know which way to look next. I have only play 4 games, and I am still going to beat you, and you know it.

I am not sure why I keep referring to my butt. Maybe I have some real issues that I need to get worked out..hehe.

Sorry Crayman, I didn't get home until 1:30am last night and there was no way I could get up at 6 if I played a game of ESPN last night. Sorry about standing you up man. You can give me a boot in the Jimmies next time you see me.

I think after you get the game up and running you click on the left thumb stick to bring up your friends list. Of course I have only had one coffee today, so my brain isn't in top form today. I am heading south for the weekend, so I will see you next week Crayman. In the mean time, I have a dedicated Black Arrow server up and running that I am leaving up for you guys this weekend.
