Am I the only one that thinks this screen is extremely impressive if that's a real-time demo?

Might as well run on a Sony TV.. MS doesn't make their own...

The background there is the lobby at the Microsoft Games office..

Oh, but wouldn't that be nice? A custom-made television set/monitor for the Xbox?

That's all we'd need is consoles with exclusive screens. I'll pass... http://www.xboxaddict.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hitachi, Sony, Panasonic, RCA, etc. already have the TVs pretty much covered. We'll leave Microsoft with the more important job of keeping the developers on track to make awesome games for the Xbox (and still the PC, have you guys been playing Midtown2 or Crimson Skies? Good stuff.)

If I am correst there is a "Made for Consoles Television". It is a thin screen television with doors that close over the front. As these are opened, they have the speakers in them. I think that it also boasts a 40 or 60 watt subwoofer too. I can't remember who makes it, but I remember seeing it when I first bought my N64 ages ago.

I think it was called "GX".(didn't have s-video) Would have been perfect in a kid's bedroom.. but these new machines call for a bigger screen, kick butt speakers, and a phat sub woofer right in the middle of your entertainment center.
