ok now i haven't check this thread in a while, so i just watched the trailer for the first time a few mins ago. And after watching the trailer my reaction is that the video itself could be fake.
The reason i say this is because they dont show u any new pictures or movie clips, they just all of the old stuff movies/demos/pitures. the reason i am saying this is that if someone wanted to they could make this movie fairly easy.
Now let me appolgise if this is an already answered or if this is a stupid question but are we 100% that bungie relased this vid?

Yes. It's the official Bungie Halo 2 trailer. It's on MSN.com, Xbox.com,. and Bungie.com. I'd assume it's real comming from those sies.
Bungie isn't putting anything new because they only release 1 single player map, and one multiplayer map (Zanzibar) they don't want to ruin anything, and don't want people to have any idea about what Halo 2 is about pretty much.

i think its a good idea that there being soo secretive about it, if anyone ruined anything for me like halo 2 i would seriously kill them. If you knew me you would be afraid. DONT SAY A WORD!

The real question we should be asking is; why? Why did they make this very intricate site? Why did they do all of this just to let us know; dont get your hopes up. Why is the 24th so special? Why would they even do this to devoted fans? It may piss off many people and possibly enough to lead to hatred of Halo 2(not me tho :) ) Why would Bungie take the time to just make us believe something so hopeful just to crush it by one guys weekly update? Why? I dont know why, and it better not be just some sh*tty advertisement for the 24th's OXM. I mean, wouldnt that just piss us off an unbelieveable amount? Enough to not buy the magazine at all? I'll pick it up, but I better be blown away by a great demo or something(I know it wont be Halo, but it better be something cool, like a little featurette for Halo 2 or something)
-----sorry if someone already said the same as me, i have stayed away from Ilovebees.com as much as posible-----------

Good for you dude, that's what I was doing, checking the countdown, but generally not trying too hard to figure anything out. All of your questionsare very valid. I'm going to say it is an ad for the OXM, but I have a feeling it's going to be a *****in preview" tons of screens, maybe a sweet vid on the disc, and a HUGE right up...10+ pages?
p.s. I live next to Rochester, PA dude so no LAN :(
