Bottom of AotCR

--if you have watched the 'going nowhere fast' videos then you'll probably know what im talking about, otherwise dont worry about it--

anybody have any tips for getting down to the bottom near the beginning of the level? i can survive the first impact w/ the ledge, but i can never hit the second one which causes the fall limit death to occur. Anyone know how to do this easier?

LOL, took my like three hourse straight to get it, but i don't really remeber what i did. It is kinda fun once your there.

Oh yea, now i remember a bit, ok, so you go to the bridge to the ledge, then the ledge to another ledge, at that part, try crouching to soften the jump, might work, agian i kinda forget, but the goal is to hit the big rock by the wall on the floor.

yeah, i can get to righhht before your suppose to make impact with the rock thats on the ground, but i always get the fall limit death

i get the feeling your talking about dropping down off the bridge to the ground level where the marines are landing as you come out side and Cortana says "The ring's weather systems must be malfunctioning...."
i've seen a video on halo.bungie.org that shows someone doing it. he basically blasts one of the turret guns down to the ledge of the cliff wall and, as it's falling, throws another grenade down to the ledge so that the blast actually stops the the turret from falling off the ledge (since it's moving so fast). it's pretty rediculous, but you'll be able to jump down to that lower ledge w/o dying as the turret will keep you from falling off the ledge ur jumping to. i've tried and tried and tried again. i got the turret to finally stop on the 2nd ledge but i died the only time i actually did on the way to it. check out the video and pics. the guy uses plasma nades to do it so stock up and good luck. lemme know if you get it or try recording it and see if you can get someone to host it.

a CHEAT?!??! damnit man, don't post that junk....show me the SKILLZ way to do it, not the makeshift, i-got-no-skillz-but-this-will-work garbage that a hacker uses. use the game's engine and do it, don't abuse the game's engine to create it. :argue1:

do it on co-op. jump down to the ledge on ur left whin u get ou of the door. if u survive, go down the decline to the en of the decline. then, kill ur teammate, run and jump forwards, hugging the wall, and if u nick the edge of the second lidge, ur partner will spawn there. u can figure the rest out urself. drop wher some rocks are and crouch on all the jumps.

Why dont you just go get a banshee and fly down there? it works fine!
