Patience, our new XBA brother.

At the moment, Ubi Soft intends to release an update patch to fix a few problems and possibly bring new features around. No word on maps, but the "service pack" is a good thing.
You can be rest assured that there will be new maps coming out for Black Arrow.
We'll just have to wait and see.
I do believe the download patch should be availible soon though.

LOL. Ubi patches. I'm so done with nUbi Soft it isn't even funny. Their games a crap with flowers stuck all over it, pretty on the surface but underneath it's still s***. I still don't understand why the Xbox version of R6 is so popular (oh yeah, cause the other online FPS's suck), the PC version is utterly superior and it's in bad shape too. They release what is essentially a patched version of the first one, with new maps and a new game mode and charge you FULL PRICE! AWESOME! They're laughing their way to the bank. Can you guess how little the development cost for that game must have been? A couple of mappers, a couple of texture artists and a guy to write a lame story. 69.99 please. You guys should be mad, not flipping out happy cause some jokers in montreal gave yu a new game mode and fixed a wall lean glitch (which by the way existed in the PC version long before the Xbox version came out, was the source of a huge outcry in the community, and they didn't even bother to fix it for your version).

He's Canadien - but also, I paid $40 USD for mine, and I'm content with it. I don't have a hyped up PC, but still wouldn't buy this for PC anyways, there's much better games out than something I can get on the XBox.

Ah....good ol exchange rates. I started at $40, then it went on sale and I got it price matched, but you are right. I was happy with spending $40 on it when I got it. RS:BA on Live ROCKS!

Map a few levels, add some "Storyline" elements etc. It's not a full development cycle, or even close, they could have gotten a mod team to make it. It's not so much a new game as an edit.

this game is a helluva lot better on PC than on Xbox, and u DONT need a "Hyped up" PC to play it. I have both BTW and I like BOTH, but I do think 40 was a little much but didnt pay for it, i only payed about 20 for it cuz i got about a 20 dollar discount on top of the games i traded in which i wasnt going to play anyways so im not worried about that either. I do agree with gollum tho, this is essentially the same lame ass RS3 that came out before it. Theres ONE(1) new weapon. They changed all the old maps a little if at all, for what reason I dont know, i guess to make people THINK that its new, theres still that lame ass auto aim(I call it auto aim but really your reticle kinda tracks enemies, if an enemy moves left/right in front of you within range of your reticle, it will follow the enemy loosely, which IMO the game doesnt require too much skill to kill people) I think theres still some issues with hit detection too.

I have alot of gripes about it but its still OK. Id like to know when this Patch is coming tho.

LOLOLOL THE PATCH!!!!! I guess you don't have to worry about BT lovking your thread for that comment here. Yes the PC version is FAR superior, bugs and all. The graphics are incomparable, the weapons are better everything is better except for the fact that Vbox has built in voice, which does add quite a bit. 1.6 will come some year.

who is BT and what thread did i make? i think its the truth, PC RVS is better than Black Arrow hands down, u really do not need a fast computer to run it and still appreciate the graphics, and since your playing it on the PC anyways, you should be able to multitask it and get on Vent or even Teamspeak so not having voice shouldnt be a factor.

I only usually play Black Arrow when im not doing too well in RVS, good old lame ass circle reticle always kills people, tho I do have another gripe, the nades in BA are severly lacking in range, RVS nades can kill from many feet away.

I'm a Green Party representative in Toronto Canada. I spend all day raging against the ills of the world. 10-12 hours a day I'm working to make the world better. I've committed my entire life to creating a fair and balanced global community. When I come here to post I'm letting go of that for a while. It's a place for me to pretend like these things are important, to blow off steam at ridiculous things, and sometimes to transfer a little steam from things that aren't so ridiculous. The game isn't completely new persay, but it is a new title that took some time to develop. They are most likely going to wait a little while before they put out some new levels. It takes some planning and design to create a new multiplayer level.

You know moose...I'm usually on your side...but I gotta shunt ya hear buddy, Ubi has a TON of maps ready made. The version of the the Unreal Toolset they use supports Xbox optimization, so, basically, they just have to save it in that format and release it. Most of the DL content (like close quarter) were maps made by Amon (Ubi mapper) almost 2 years ago when Raven Shield.

As for getting threads locked by BT. I guess you don't post over at the PC Raven Shield Forum. Bullet Tooth (BT) is the PR guy for Ubi over there, and pretty much any thread complaining about the delay in the 1.6 patch (the one to lock the developer commands the idiots left open, you know, things like removing textures from walls to create an ad hoc wallhack or the "norecoil" command). The patch has been due for over 6 months now and we're still waiting. We were originally told June (which was already insanely long after the rpoblem had been discovered) and there's no NEWS of it nevermind a release date.
