So what do you think of BA vs the original?

Personally I like it a lot more. Especially w/ the new gametypes (mainly retrieval)

Posted this after reading some opinions in another thread about how this didn't have the same goodness to it. IMO, it might not, because it is still in essence a game we've all been playing for a good year. I think, had they been released at the same date, most people would agree that BA is loads better, but that could just be me.

The extra game types for BA make it a must have, plus the intergration of the Live 3.0 features such as clan support and messaging.

Other than that, it's not much over the old in my opinion. The AI isn't all that much different except that they use the different grenade types against you know. Well, they have three reactions. None whatsoever, fight, charge at you.

It's like an expansion pack with a few more benefits.. especially since they fixed the lean glitch.

Ive had this game for less then a week and im still learning the maps. The games modes are great and so are the maps. I dont like how they ****ed up garage and the spawns, and airport 2, and persidio. THey were great why the change?

Airport 2? Well I do also agree that the totaly ruined presido and garage. In garge one of the teams if forced to camp and the same in presido. But besids that BA is way better than rs3 no lean glitch and all of the other features make it a good game.

put the features and fix the lean glitch , put that in the old game and i will like the old game better, the levels were better, hate to break it to ya, the levels on this new one blow and are too big..plus the overtime is horrible...i hate the gametypes, it should of stuck to straight team survival....

well i like BA better bc of its new features and glitches that are already fixed. but i think the orgional one had the best maps.

I'm not a fan of the new gametypes, it pisses me off how you can kill like 30 people, but if your teammates suck, you can still lose. I personally HATE retrieval, I can tolerate total conquest, and I love team survival. Old game has more spice, and just seemed like it was all around more intriguing. Like stunner said, I hate the new maps, too big for my taste. I miss the carnivals, the trainings, and the airport 2's from the old game. Now that I think about it, I really don't like this game. Playing it seems like such a chore, like I'm trying to get myself to like it, but its not happening. I used to rush home from school last year to play the old one, but now I feel like I am being forced to play it when people invite me to it. Halo 2 can't come fast enough, I know I'll be sick of ESPN soon.

I like the big missions in BA, but I miss the old levels. I miss the stand and deliver assault on the end of Island Estate. I miss the close range high body count of Import/Export. I miss the mad rush at the end of Garage and just slaying the driver of the limo.
I like these long BA missions, but there was something cool about the old missions.

I'll base my answer on playing time of the different games. Old RS3 got about a heavy month of playing before I put it down...forgot what game I put it down for, but didn't play it much afterwards. BA is getting nightly play from me with only the release of a new shooter to push it aside.

BOOOOOOOOO. Peaks is a good map, I see why people might not like it, but I've had a ton of fun match play there.
