I called my local EB store last night and they told me it is not gonna be here til the 16th!!!

I am gonna go in there today though and see if it came, just cause the girl that told me that has been wrong before!!

sometimes different stores get it at different times? I know I have had my EB not get certain titles in for over a week... Of course something like fable you think they would make sure to get it

Well, I have my copy. Unfortunately, I decided this was a good time to send my XBox back to Microsoft to have it fixed. I should have it back by next Friday, so no Fable for me until then. But at least I'll be enjoying it DDE-Free, so :p

i have my copy!!! picked it up yesterday afternoon and played it until midnight!! and how cool is this- i was supposed to write a paper for english yesterday but i played fable instead, and i just got to class 10 minutes ago and the professor was caught in traffic! class cancelled!! cooldude always wins!

anyway...right now i'm sitting in the computer lab until my next class.. fable is so cool guys! the first hour kinda sucks because you just have to get used to everything and do stupid quests when the guildmaster teaches you stuff. but after you get into brownstone(?) it gets really cool. i went evil on everyone, stealing everything i could from houses, beat up children in their classroom with their teacher(then got beat up by the guards). i killed the bee queen (pretty easy, unfortunetly.. :( ) and killed 3 villagers with it. i just bought this wicked black suit for my guy, he looks awesome. also i was buying merchandise from merchants who had a lot of something and then selling it to merchants who needed that particular product, making some money. the only nitpicks i have right now are that sometimes running isn't consistent with the controls, i don't know how to explain it, but you can be holding down B and running then he will just stop, the run again in spurts like that. other than that just a minor graphics glitch once in a while, like the landscape won't show up unless you move in certain places. neither of these things really takes away from the experience, though. it's such a blast guys..i can't wait to get home and keep going. :) who else here has played it?

i got mines last night.................let me tell you It is one of the best rpgs to date, imo........this is a must have for any rpg fan....im 12 hours into the game...........all i got to say is the more you play the more you get addicted..

Some of you are expecting more or are saying that it's nothing big, but once you put some hours into it, then you'll be experienceing the effects of what Fable is meant to be.

Not, "the second i get home, i'm gonna play it" good, but good nonetheless.

I imagine it will pick up as I get farther into it, but for now I'm glad I spent my $50, but also that I didn't get too wrapped up in all the hype.

Killing the wasp queen was a bit easy... but it DOES introduce you to combat in Fable and you can kill them with the sword, bow, will power or any combination of the three... me, I just dodged and shot arrows at the queen by locking on with the L trigger...

What a rush when you get past that opening movie and get into the game... The graphics really are excellent.. particularly on the weapons and clothing and the character models... my first funny moment was when I started kicking a chicken around and accidently punched my father... (Ooops!)

It seems to me that with a lot of the combat it's more about how badly you can beat them rather than about surviving. Health potions and revivial potions are a little too common. But whatever, I don't like dying and seeing now badly you can own a pack of a dozen Balverines is a kick.

Well don't expect to master the system overnight... especially the bow... I like the bow better than the crossbow which I won by getting graded an A+... But I sold the crossbow... firing rate is too slow I think...

Agreed, the crossbow is a POS. But being good with a bow is reasonably essential for getting past the Trolls early.

I hate you all the mtvshop said I'd get it today when I first ordered it now their site says it just came out today how stupid do I look ( don't awnser that.) any way I now know when halo2 comes out I am going to be pissed. I hate mtvshop they suck who ever posted that thread about cheap halo 2 from them you suck to. thats the only reason I ordered fable from them I didn't even get the deal on halo 2.
