Everytime I goto or call Babbages and ask them when a game will be released they say it will be released on a certain day but that day is one day late than it's supposed to be released. Example: Shenmue for the DC was released November 14th of 2000 but Babbages didn't release it til the 15th. I remember I back in 1999 I called them to ask when NBA2K was coming out any they said that they will sell it at October 17th but it really came out on the 16th. Same with yesterday. I asked a guy there when will they sell WWF Raw for the Xbox and he said on the 13th of Febuary...but it really comes out on the 12th. So what's with this?

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Why is Babbages always one day late?

I dunno, maybe because they're slow...

Babbages will give you the date the game is released, which is the day it ships to Babbages. They usually arrive next day, but it is allways best to call before going out :)

yeah, it all has to do with shipping. Morrowind ships the 15th, but the local EB wont get it until the 16th... :(

Actually to correct you Tyrell, 2/12/02 is the ship date for WWF RAW, not the actual date on sale is stores.
And in some cases games may come to the retailer earlier than expected.
I remember I pre-ordered WSB2K2 on DC last year and it got to the retailer 3 days before it was supposed too!
So you never know, but 2/12/02 is the ship date for RAW, so they are not a day late in this case.
Also I pre-ordered my RAW at Software Ect. (a babbages partner) and it will be in stores on time! :)
