does wearing a helmet prevent face scars?

having a blast with fable!! i have been so busy lately i haven't played it as much as i'd like... but does wearing a helmet prevent you from getting scars on your character's face? i was getting pissed in the beginning cause i wasn't that good yet and getting scars, and i've been wearing a helmet since then but i don't know if it's making a difference yet. and i hear scars heal over time, is this true? thanks guys

i have a big a.s.s. scar running down my face. Its hideous and it makes me llok like a pirate. I really dont know.. I dont think so, because the only thing that prevent scars is to block and dodge attacks.

They won't go away, I still have the same ones from the 3rd hour of gameplay as in the 11th. I wish I knew, because I have like 5 huge scars on my face, and I still don't belive in blocking, I don't know why.

I just use facial hair and bizitchin' tatoos to cover them up.

****... i have 3 huge scars on my chest too, looks ridiculous. i used tatoos and a long beard to cover the face, and plus my guy's is evil so i guess i don't care if he's ugly. i mean he's got flies buzzing around his head, he's not supposed to look pretty right?

Helmets wont help. I had body armor but my guy still got huge scars down my back. So I doubt a helmet would do anything.
