Okay after my quest near Knotsomething... I can't recall the name right now.

I went into the town with a change of heart. I got fairly upset and decided to take it out on the town. But the guards are over powering. I got my fines up to 30+ thousand and it just kicked me out of town and took all my cash. I came back right away (teleported in). And started to fight the guards again, shortly after says I'm fined 0 and kicked out. And this basically continues until I got sick of trying.

Has anyone successfully killed off a town yet?

Or has anyone bought a Tavern yet? I originally was just going to kill off the Tavern owner and buy the building.

The regenerating guards trick is lame and I'm really dissappointed the designers used such a cheap tactic. They should have made them a lot harder to kill if they didn't want you slaughtering the countryside. I would like to know their justification for it.

Some guards can have a very fast attack.

I killed off knothole glade. My fines were up around 90 thousand by the time it seemed to slow down. You need to kill off all the residents.

So instead of fighting the guards, try to run around and get the regular residents?

You need to have the people 1 at a time to somewhere that there are no gaurds or other people, then kill them. If you have some decent renown they will easily follow.

Why go through the hassle of fighting gaurds?
