That's usually what i do. I try to hit them with lighting right when they come out of their little shield ball or whatever you want to call that thing. Then i try and plan it perfect so when they come to the ground i can hit them with my sword... That's pretty much the only way i've done it and it's not that bad.

I use my bow, it seems to work the best.

Bow and arrow is what I did as well. Kinda funny, but killing these tinkerbells brings me a great deal of satisfaction. Maybe it's their mocking laughter that ticks me off....
