First off, I searched through to see if this was all ready discussed or mentioned, and found nothing of the sort.

Secondly, I'm curious if any of you have heared about/played against a dragon.

I'm thinking there isn't one, maybe taken out of the game, but other things point against that, depending on the age of the following things I'm going to show you.

Now those three things can mean two possible things. First, there WAS at one point a dragon in the game, since then it could have possibly been taken out but they left what is now meaningless code in there, and the screen shot was taken before game release. (I don't know who took the picture, or how to ask them)
Second, there is in fact a dragon in the game. I'm curious to ask the people who beat the game all ready, in the room there, is there a picture of a dragon? If there is one, this would show that the dragon was just taken out, and that they just added the picture after a certain quest. If it isn't there and you have some blank spots for pictures then there might possibly be a dragon in the game. I'm just wondering about this whole thing. And by the picture if there IS a dragon it looks to be hella big.

I personally think that maybe after you beat the game, like I mean game, not just the main quest, but you get everything, then maybe a quest card for the dragon will appear. There is also some ruins in the room with the pictures (Someone jog my memory, the Hero's Fate or something?) Maybe they become accessible after 100% completion. Just my thoughts on it.

Anyways, tell me what you think.

I think the Fable universe extends well beyond a 15 hour main quest. I can't wait until the give us another quest to get plugged in (I'm betting you there's going to be some awesome dl content for this game).

Yeah, I'm searching for the dragon too. I still don't know quite how to go about finding, but if I stumble on to anything I'll post it up.
I doubt it cause on the back of the box it doesnt say there will be dl content. But on my first time beating it I did every side quest I could find and it only was 13 hours and ?? minutes.

No that's the Kraken, not a dragon.

I know, but in an interview with Molyneux he stated that there may be a way of re-implementing the Multiplayer feature in the game. That means they must have left anchors in the code to re-insert features. The logical assumption is they would do that through a DL to live subscribers. Fable is aware, so it must be compatible with the technology. This also meane they maybe able to DL new sidequests and perhps (who knows) even another "main quest".

I read that it was taken out.. It was one of the big features removed a month or two ago that everybody was b*tching about.

There were ships outside of Oakvale and had pictures of dragons on the sails. Maybe that's how. But I couldn't get access to the ship.

Hmm...it won't have any new DC. First this is LIVE Aware means only you can access to your contact list. You have no option to get new DC by any ways. I just beat the game last night, but still have like many side quests to do and demon doors to open. About something i just notice, if you zoom out completely when you are in the big map, you will see that there are lands on the top that can't be accessible by this moment. Maybe there are wait to go there. About the dragon, you can read in a book called "The Dragons", seems like there are only one left....

Ok, then how do they propose to get the MP reinstated? Live aware means it can access the LIVE service. If it can do that it can DL content too. They just may not have planned for any, or are not stating it at the moment. Molyneux himself said it (about MP, not DLC, to be clear) so I'm specualting based on what he has said. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but theoretically it's possible. Look at what they did for Ninja Gaiden.

Well, at the back of the box of Ninja Gaiden, you can see DC but in Fable only Live Aware.

About the dragon quest, in the chamber of fate, you can see there are one wall that need to be fill with pic. I have complete every quest....

Haha thanks, Shadow. That one answer was a long time coming. There must be a dragon then. Because say they did take the dragon out and left a few strings of data in there, that would be understandable. I can't see them leaving an empty spot on the wall if there was no way to fill it. No definitly not the wall!

I remeber Molyneux talking about the potential to add multiplayer still, so I would assume that its possible to download content even though it isn't advertised. SNES wasn't meant to render 3-d, but Rare figured out a way to do it. Lots of stuff that "can't be done" is at some point done when it comes to coding. I'm sure getting DC would be much easier then getting 3d modeling on a SNES too, that was just an extreme example.

Also, about the Dragon this game uses triggers that are sensitive to what you do and when its done. I wonder if we just need to figure out the cobination of actions and timing to find a dragon. I'll bet it was pulled from retail, but its possible it just needs to be found.

Even if the game doesn't show the option for D/C it doesn't mean it's not there or it can't be put in. If there is an update for Live, it could be possible to download it straight from the Dashboard. Or even through a 'Demo' disc.

Don't know if anyone posted this but this is my thoughts.

In the tavern in hook coast, go updtairs and in one of the drawers or closets there is a book called the dragons.

In the guild after you beat jack in one of the book cases is a book called, The creatures of Albion III. read it and at the bottom of the book it explains about dragons.

And then there are those pictures of the painting of the dragon at the top post.

A co-worker of mine said he read/saw an interview with Peter on some site, and Peter said he's read forum after forum, and there's 3 quests he's never seen anyone talk about... Take place mostly during early morning hours.

The Dragon is in the game I herd there coming out with an upgrade disc that unlocks several new features like multiplayer, new quests (including the Dragon one), and even online play.

He did not say that the dragon was in the game, he said that there coming with a disc that will bring the dragon and whatever else that was cut from the game on an expansion disc, and for the online play man i hope that is true.Xbox needs an online rpg.

There is no xbox expansion disc the Lost chapters is for the pc not the box.

There is no dragon in Fable, perhaps in the lost chapters, but not the XBOX version. It is obvious that a dragon was intended for the game, just look at the picture in the hall of fate, or what ever it is called.

There is also a dragon fountain in hook coast by the stairs to the teleporter thingy.

But face the facts... If there was one in the game, someone would have found the thing by now...

While searching on the web for fable stuff, I stumbled apon this (http://gr.bolt.com/games/codes/xbox/fable.htm) page, go to the bottom and you should see "getting a dragon", after seeing that I went to explore more and thats how I found this tread and I thought it might interest you guys, so, go check it out.

theres a facless demon gate ment for the doorway 2 the dragon but you cant get into it
i did the spade glitch to prove that i was right
when u get through the door it leads to a tunnel
then there is a invible walk u cant get though....
what my theroy was that when u got though the demon door a load screen would apear and bring u to the area with the dragon....

All this speculation about the existence of a dragon is amazing, amazingly stupid. My guess is that the programmers rushed toward the end of development so they could get the launch of "the coolest game of all time" out ASAP and forgot that they couldnt be @$#@% making a dragon in the first place. Bad idea cause the game sucked and I couldnt care less about 'DRAGADOR' or whatever lame name they probably would have called that stupid dragon.

It would be a good featur to have a dragon. But i still dont think its in the game. Like most people said they might of took it out. And that faceless Demon Door is a good idea too.And if theyre was a dragon, someone would of found it by now. I guess it was all just a rumor. But hopefully the makers of Fable will put it in the Lost Chapters. And for those who said the Lost Chapters is coming out for only computer it is. But its coming out for xbox too. But in late fall. :cry:

I tryed some things people suggested, like the faceless door in the lookout point. I did the dig glitch and got in. Inside there was a very small path which leads you to this darkness that blocks the way I did the dig glitch again and I got through the darkness. Then I say this small alcove (very small). To move in the alcove you have to sneak (by clicking the left anolog stick) (Kinda obvios if your evil). The alcove has no other passageways its very small like i said. I remember someone saying it was supposed to be the passagway to the dragon. But who knows. I also heard of this other passway in hook coast that leads to dragon cliff (or island). He said go behind the warpgate in hook coast and put your back to the little hill do the dig glitch. (just for those who dont know the dig glitch, when you put your back against a wall fence or anything else and dig it will slowly make you go through, sometimes it will turn you around facing the other way, all you have to do is just turn around slowly without moving and keep on going, sometimes you hit some invisible walls you can do the dig glitch there too, but it is easier if you just sneak). So you keep on doing this until you get to a loading screen and use sneak to get through invisible walls and go over alot of hills to your right and eventually youll get there. The hook coust thing is wat the guy said. I tryed this and didnt know which hill i did alot of them and instead of going through i went over (lol). If anyone gets the hook coast thing to work plz reply. Who knows the guy just might be lying...

You should try more things before you post you cant get through any deomon door without opening it. (well you can but you cant go into the area you know what i mean :P)

I was on a cheat web site (www.mofunzone.com) and it did say that you have to find "Elm" and a crew and then you would be able to "sail" to the supposed
Dragon cliff and if Ohh well just check it out for your self. Elm is suppost to be in the north of albion....

I did more reaserch and I read books and I found that they live in moutians so if there is a island with a volcano that is the island. also cheak out "the Dragons" and "Creatures of Albion III" it may Help also IF any one finds Elm Tell Me.

The only thing that makes me slightly believe there could be a dragon or a Hero's Hall or whatever are some screenshots i saw online of these things.

But i really think that the rest of the map is there just to be used in Fable: The Lost Chapters

There may be a dragon in the lost chapters, but not fable. Besides, if there was a dragon, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. It would just be another lame boss battle. So let this thread die.

yeah there is a dragon in the lost chapters. he's at the end, although he's very easy just like the ending of the original fable. :confused:

has anyone tryed looking for a guy named Elm? this is what i had found on mofunzone.com

Get a Dragon:
Go to Elm, the sailor in the North of Albion. Follow him to his boat, find a crew, and then go to an island. Once there, you will find a big vulcano and a small village. Go speak with the Mayor. He will say you must go to a cave inside the vulcano. Once inside, you will find a Y Splitsing. Smash the pillars and you will find two spheres. Then go in front of the Y Splitsing and you will find on the ground 3 Circle Sings, 2 small and 1 big. Put the spheres on the small circles and the big circle will open up. Then go down in the circle and you will be in a cave. Whatever you do, don't wakt the sleeping Sragon in the middle of the cave -- it's immortal and will just pile on the hurt. Instead, kneel down and pray for him. He will give you a sword and an egg. Go back to the Great Wood and the egg will hatch, giving you a baby dragon! Love him, squeeze him, and call him 'George'.

please someone let me know if you find him...

Obviously you can't find the extreme sarcasm in that you just posted. There is no dragon in fable, there is no dragon egg, and there is no Elm. If you want a dragon in fable go buy the lost chapters.

if there was a dragon in fable, wouldnt u have to kill him or at least confront him before the picture went up on the wall??? i have beat the game many times, using my wits and facts from internet, nothin about a dragon, only a freaking good dragon sword

there is no dragon in fable, as about 1000 people have stated. to get the picture of the dragon on that wall you'd have to hack the game to get the file to show up there, and we don't condone that around here, so yeah.
