The New ILB Thread - Are you uber-geek enough?

Ok, this story is just getting way to interesting. I've even dragged people who hated ILB before back into it becuase the story is getting so good. We need to have people getting these axons so that we can get the story! It was nice only having to wait two days to get the full story last week. Let's try to do that again.

Alright well, I might contribute, it depends on my mood.

I just want the story. And I just so happen to be spending tomorrow evening in Portland. And I am uber-geek :watchout:

OK, I made this thread becuase my other threads had varying topics that I posted info in and were mostly ignored. Granted, this one will be ignored just because it says ILB in the header, but still, I try. Anyways, don't wast your life away flaming me. Hell, you've already wasted two minutes of your life reading this far. If you don't like ILB than don't participate in the discussion, there you go, I just added minutes to your life. My work is done here.

Then again, if you are even slightly interested in the story (It's Pre-Halo 2 folks!) then post about it. I want to hear more theories and opinions.

OK, so the Op accepted 6 new crewmembers. I now think that she will accept six more every week until the 9th and on that day those people will get some sort of something to thank them for participating.

-Jan finds out some stuff about why they had to movie so much. Like, her dad found out that someone was eyeing her for the Spartan II program. So he killed the guy in their backyard and they had to move.
-Um, Kamal is filthy rich - in casino chips.
-Sophia just found out that her dad left her mom on Coral so she is alone. So Soph is trying to get Aiden to force her to come to Earth.
-Jersey meets with his mom and talks about her affair.
-I think that Jersey's dad might have some important role in the story, because the last WAV with the conversation with Durga. Who knows....
-Gilly is getting better and sleeps now.
-The story was lacking this week but they are just building right now. Calm before the storm, I hope.

Sorry I've been away for a while. The only time I can post is when I am at school between classes becuase I just moved and we don't get our cable until the weekend. Anyways it's hard to figure stuff out in like ten minutes and post about it.

So it's YOUR turn to update me. The only things I really can see with ILB is that in the new WAV's Jan is getting tortured by Thin. There is also some very interesting WAV titles such as flash_clones and yasmine. Yasmine is Kamal's sister who was kidnapped at age six and replaced with a flash clone.

Anyway, help me out here and I will be back tomorrow.

-Ok, Durga is hearing a strange voice in her head and it's making do strange things, but...
-More importantly, she checked up on Jan. Jan is being tortured by Thin Kinkle and her dad is dead. James James, the Spartan 1 is dead. Wow.
-Jersey told Durga to get police over there and she said that she could do better. That's where it ends for that.

- So, Aiden has this plan. He decides that he wants to try to flash clone pop stars so he could use them for promotion. Kamal is trying to explain to him why it won't work, when....
-it dawns on him. He figures out that his sister was flash cloned. Very dramatic. This story is getting very good and the recording is top of the line. Best ish I've ever listened to.
-He goes over to Soph's house to talk with her. He says that that means that Yasmine is still alive. I believe that she was taken for the Spartan 3 program. The dates add up, I checked. That means that either Halsey or Parsons is responsible for another super soldier program. dun dun dun....

Jan

-Wow, once again, this story is getting good.
-Jan is being tortured by Thin. She eventually is crying. Then the perimiter alarm goes off. Thin says something about here comes daddy. He kills the people outside he gets into the door. Then he gets captured with nets.
-Thin says he won't stop until Jan loves him. He kills James. Sometime before he dies he says that he isn't alone. Jan passes out.
-When a couple of Thin's thugs are cleaning up the body, they hear something. When they try to communicate with the people at the door they get no response. One of em says that there were five guys out there. Then the lights go out and one of the guys screams in pain, etc. The other guy says something like when Thin finds out he's gonna AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
-I think that it is Jan's mom.

Holy Crap! There is no way I'm gonna tell you guys the story this week. You HAVE to listen to it. It's so crazy. There are so many new revalations. It's mad. Paths are finally starting to cross. You HAVE to listen to the story it's so worth it. It's a good book, essentially.

In the real world. The Op got over 300 new members, which I missed out on cuz I don't have frikkin internet! GRRRR. Anyways, I can only log on when I'm on campus so I usually have to wait until wednesday to check. Sigh, so what happened is that people took pics of themselves and other people salluting the camera in front of a payphone. The listed their Name and pos. then could even give their phone numbers. Basically, the story is about a human ship, on patrol in deep
covenant space, that captures a Forerunner artifact which is believed
to be Covenant until the end. They bring it back to Earth, and when
they do, their shipboard AI, Melissa, get's broken up into two pieces.
One piece lands in the 21st century on the I Love Bee's website,
and the other landed on this guy's chatter. The guy names her Durga.
Eventually, all of this leads to the point where a group of people, one of
them a child of a Spartan 1, have to break in to a military base to
recover the artifact before it's too late. It was counting down to go
off and kill everything in the universe. It was much like Halo, only
the size of a tire. So they set it off, and unknowingly at the same time
they exposed themselves to the Covenant. That's how the Covenant
found Earth.
