Just got it. I hate the way whenever there's a turnover/change of possession, the logo of the other team splashes all over the screen. It's distracting and annoying. Is there any way to turn this dubious feature off???

i don't know, but i can't stand ea sports...but i don't know that espn's basketball game will be any better than ea's this year. any reason you jumped on live instead of waiting a week for 2k5?

any reason you jumped on live instead of waiting a week for 2k5?Well, it was there. I figured for $20 I could always pick up 2k5. I liked 2k3 a lot, esp. on XBL, but 2k4 was a step backward, IMO.

Ummm NBA 2k5 came out today...
After reading reviews Live seemed to improve just not enough.
I picked up NBA 2k5 on the way home from schoool, and have been playing it since.

Come on Bakeman. You know that ESPN 2K5 is not as good as NBA live 2005. Its so slow. You age 30 years after playing one game. Thats horrible and plus, live has one up on espn. Live has a Dunk contest. GAME OVER! I pick Live without a doubt.

you can change the game speed in 2k5 if that's what you're talking about.
2k5 is more realistic than live, but not everyone wants that in a game. i guess you fall in the category that like unrealistic, arcade style hoops.

I think that is a friend of mine. He also sent me an e-mail through here.

From the looks of the username it appears to be a friend of mine. He is just trying to get a rise out of us. If that is who I think it is, he really likes the dunk contest in Live, but he like ESPN's game better.
