Edge Give Fable 8/10 Is This Right?

Is this right is all that fable desearves is a 8/10, please enlighten me and say it does not, I read the reveiw and all they did was rip it and at the end just said a good game, and got a 8/10, anyone agree with this or is Edge been a ***** about something, I have always trusted there reveiws and I couldent belive what they were saying.

No way, lots of magazines have dissed Fable because it didn't have all it was said to have or whatever, but I think it is and awesome game. I just hope Halo 2 doesn't turn out the same way because it left out a few things Bungie said it would have. But anyway I would give Fable at least a 9.5.

Cheers man, the game seems dodgy but at the end of every reveiw I have read it always ends as 'A Good Game' after they dissed it for like 4 pages worth, cheers for helpin us out mate.

It's not the first xbox rpg that got ripped, Seems to be a trend for xbox rpg's. I guess in order for an xbox rpg not to get ripped it would have to be a final fantasy clone.

With all the nasty reviews fable is receiving I wonder if a fable 2 will be created.

I did a big write up on this in another thread. Do a search on my posts and you'll find it. It's pretty much theory on why the game gets torn apart then given a good score. There's reasons. I'd say Fable deserves more than an 8 to be sure, but I'd still kick the snot out of it in a review.

Kotor is the only xbox rpg that has gotten a score above 8. Gamespot gave it a 9.1

honestly, i would rate it somewhere in the 8.5-8.9 range. does it deserve an 8? no. does it deserve a 9? ehh..maybe, but i wouldn't give it anything higher.

It's a great game man.. its just really, really, really short.. packed full of goodness just really short.
