Hexagon Key

Any one else who has done the quest where you resque the boy from Hobbe Cave knows what I'm talking about. What the **** is the use of the hexagonal key that the old stupid lady gives to you? I can't even find it in my inventory anymore...did I use it without knowing? Someone help me out here, I'm going insane tryin to figure this out.

i think it implies that you need it to open the doors in the hobbe cave. if you look, there is a hex shape on each door you open.

It uses it on one of the doors in Hobbe Cave without telling you it did so.

No. I expected the use to be a little more pronounced than being a key that is used for one door with a hexagon shaped hole in it. Mabye if I went into the cave before I got it I wouldv'e noticed. All well.

What would you use the key for anyway. The only other door you can open that mean anything are the demon doors.
