armor question

does master chief get new armor in H2? I read something about how the Mark VI armor is different, so i thought he DID get new armor (in HALO, they say "woah! a mark 5!"). then i re-re-re-read Fall of Reach and Halsey calls the armor w/ shield the Mark Six armor...new armor yay or nay?

Yes Mark VI armor. It is cooler looking and has no health bar and it is more apparent when you lose your shields.

By the end of First Strike Master Chief still has Mark V armor, which is the only type he has ever worn. He probably starts Halo 2 with it just because it is a cool upgrade from the last Halo. When and where does he get it though? We do not know yet.

In First Strike doesn't the other Spartans fix some of their armor with the Mark VI? I can't really remeber.

No, they just get a few replacement parts and upgrades. Not a completely new suit.

he had the armor that was pre-fall of reach...like 2525-2552 that had no shields, etc...i always figured that was a mk4 or something.

It's just a Mark V without shields. The shields were part of the complete MJOLNIR Mark V as it was intended.

Its sorta like Muh-yole-ner. Watch the e3 2k4 multiplayer demo and youll hear they exact pronunciation. I remember when I read the books I basically said Modgoliner... sorta a combination between modular and liner. Dont know how I pulled that outta my ass but I did :watchout:.
