if it does cost money then i dont care. ill pay it for new maps. i bet you anything there is going to be alot of downloadable contect for a LOOOOONG time after the release date. they wont just release a couple downloads and forget about it like most of the XBL games out. you can count on bungie to keep Halo2 up-to-date all the time

yeah I'd be willing to pay ten bucks for a good multiplayer map a year and a half or somethin into halo 2

I'd happily pay for new maps for Halo 2...and why not? It's additional content... Not everything is free, of course.

My guess is that they won't charge for the first few maps but then start charging after a few new ones are already out. Just a guess.
