Wrestlemania 21 for XBOX?

Raw2 was meh, don't really bother.

Raw 2 had everything in terms of content. An amazing career mode, all the match types needed, brilliant create a wrestler mode including the option to use your own music. But the actualy gameplay is so shallow and dull, it ruins the whole experience.

Only worth investing in if your really into wrestling and don't have amazingly high hopes of it.

And anyway, yes, the next wrestlemania game will be on the Xbox. I guess THQ realised the Raw series sucked. It's looking promising if Day of Reckoning on the Gamecube is anything to go by. If it takes full advantage of the Xbox than it could really be something.

There is one thing that is really cool about Raw 2. It was the fact that 4 players could participate in the career campaign.

I like the game for awhile, that 4 player campaign was the best, but like Sound said, the game is very shallow for the most part. Poor enemy AI, things like that.

Also, the pace of the game was really annoying too. Ok, it is supposed to be a technical game, but you get other WWE Games that are technical and still maintain a fast paced action.

im sorry raw 2 sucked.....(in wrestling season) freaking awesome game when creating a player....god i wish smackdown and raw just took its best and made one game i mean damn its not enough i cant get a decent batman movie now i cant even get a great wrestling game...

probably sometime around wrestlemania 21 in the spring 2005. however, i did read an article on gamespot that suggested that THQ has repositioned the release to q4. i dont expect it out this year but here's hoping

I am hoping that WrestleMania 21 for the Xbox is much better than Raw and Raw 2, both of which were rubbish. Lets hope with the new developer things can only get better. The only good thing about Raw 2 was the theme ripping, The creata-wrestler option and gameplay was pathetic. Bad game engine, no back-stage areas or good variety of matches, topped off with a rubbish career made Raw 2 dire.

Creating wrestlers are to me the most fun part of a wrestling game as long as the creata-wrestler option has depth to it.

To have the ultimate creata-wrestler option you need the following features in the game:

1. Layering like the Smackdown series has on the PS2. Without layering you can't create proper decent-looking attires, because you wouldn't be able to add your own designs or text to pants or t-shirts etc.

2 A wide selection of realistic-looking hair-styles, tattoos, face paints, lips, eye brows, faces and entrance attire i.e. hats, jackets, glasses etc. Raw 2 just had no choice at all.

3. You also need to implement into the game a way of creating the attiire separate from the body, so the designs and text don't take the bodies shape making them look stupid like in Smackdown.

4 Theme ripping is a must along with at least 60 creata-wrestler slots and a huge roster.

5. You should be able to create a fat wrestler that looks realistic. If you create Yokozuna he should look fat enough. On Smackdown vs Raw you just can't do it.

The features I would want in the new WrestleMania 21 game are: The ability to put your own name on the side of the wrestling ring in the creata per-per-view option and scan faces into the game via a camera.

The main thing about a wrestling game is to make it fun to play. Smackdown isn't perfect, but it is the most fun to play on. The Legends of wrestling series along with Raw 1 and 2 and WrestleMania X8, XIX and Day of reckoning I rate as being bad wrestling games, which all offer very little in the way of features and game mechanics.
