I had the original Morrowind. I sold it because I found it dull long before I finished the game. Perhaps it was TOO open-ended. Anyway, now that I've played Fable I'm hungry for some RPG action. I've thought about buying the GOTY edition since it's only $20 new.

I remember the original game had frequent crashing problems. Were they fixed in the GOTY edition?

Has anyone else gone back to Morrowind with renewed appreciation after playing Fable?

If you have a pc capable of morrowind, go with that, its better with less load times, and theres a bunch of mods around for it that make it fun

the GOTY edition never crashed on me...

I would give it another go, if I knew I wouldn't stop playing it in 3 weeks...

3 weeks is all you need to make you stop, with halo 2 coming out by then

Morrowind rules. GotY works perfectly, as long as you have a newer drive on your Xbox. Otherwise, it will run even worse than the original game.

I have an original Thompson and GoTY seems to work fine on it.

That's amazing. I bought a whole new xbox just to play GOTY. You're very fortunate.
