Anywho. I'm mad they have shipped the game already....I think I'm gonna have to bomb my EB...after I find out if they have the game yet.

I hope it won't end up like The Matrix. They had the game like a week early and it was on display and on the "demo TVs" so people could try it. BUT THEY WOULDN'T LET YOU!!! They said "We'll be out of business if you touch that controller. Just step away, and enjoy our complimentary AC." (Ok, I added the last part, but who cares.) If they do that to me again, I will be highly dissapointed, or just forced to simultaneously jizz and explode all over the place from staring right at the game screen with my hand eight inches away from the controller AND NOT BEING ABLE TO TOUCH IT!

nobody wanted to believe me when i said stores would get their copies well in advance of the launch date. Personal orders will ship on the 8th from stores such as EB games (at least my preorders always ship a day before launch day). :p

Depends where you bought it from. Some places will ship it 3 days earlier that normal street date so it gets to your house the day it comes out. Some places don't.

The point is: The person from the above pictures didn't steal it. They walked into a store and bought it. (Or so their story claims). I just got back from my EB. They have it and a crapload of merchandise in. They've got a life size MC right inside the front doors, Tons of action figures and t-shirst and lord knows what else. Our local Xbox rep was there (cool guy) he told me a lot about multiplayer when I was there. He said the host is always the one with the biggest bandwidth (which we already knew) but that doesn't change who the admin is (which is something that was being questioned a while ago). Apparently the DVD with the limited edition DOES NOT contain any game demos. Crappy.

He said people with 1.2 mbps connections may be prone to some lag however everyone else is going to be fine. I mentioned SW: Battlefront and he laughed and assured me we'd have none of those shenanigans. He also warned that the beta testers are pure evil and there are quite a few who basically just waiting for monday night to rape us all.

Anyhoo, I saw the game, it's there, it's real, I had to fight the urge to grab and run. Monday can't come soon enough.
