It's a damn shame. I was invited to do the same but I just couldn't do it. I decided to wait until Monday. I think they may get caught but it won't come from me. The only thing I asked was that they don't tell me anything. Some people are greedy man, and impatient. Some of you know where I work part time so you can imagine what I'm talking about. So my question is: Would you have taken them early?

If I cared for any game coming out like I do with Halo 2... No I wouldn't... But if it was anything less or nothing like Halo 2 I wouldn't care... I'd go! Mainly to hang with my friends and drink some beer... :D

A friend of mine, or an aquaintance really, has the illegal version. He and another friend of mine played through the entire campaign in one sitting, overnight. The only thing I allowed him to tell me was that it's awesome. And that it had subtitles, so they actually knew what was going on.

And that the grunts sound really funny in french.

Though I'm thoroughly tempted(especially just to play some harmless mulitplayer), I can wait until monday.

P.S. He did confirm one rumor I'd seen, but won't repeat here. It's sick.

If your going to play Halo, play it the way it was ment to be played. Playing it in french would just be retarded and dilute the expeirience. IMO

It's not an illegal copy poeple. These guys took the legal copies, early, from the store he works at.

I'm just going to admit it right now, if some store was stupid enough to sell me the game early, a true NTSC version in the real box from a local retailer, I would definately buy it and play it allllll weekend long. Obviously, this is unlikely to happen...but, I think the T-Man is talking about an employee at a game store actually took a copy of the game home....now, I don't agree with that.

The reason why buy a copy that a store sold early (if that were to happen) is because tomorrow is Friday...and then Saturday...and then Sunday! I don't work on the weekends and during the week, I work my ass off. Yes, I will buy Halo 2 at Midnight Monday night...but, I absolutely will not play it because I need my rest so I can get up and work hard. After work, however, I will be all over Halo 2's Campaign like slime on snot.

Well, I would say in two six hour sessions playing co-op on Legendary. My best buddy is also a kick ass Halo player...so, it's just a prediction.

Yeah these guys took it home from the store. I was scared to because I thought that the district manager would come check on such a prized property. I declined but it was killing me! As long as they don't tell me nothing it's cool but if they brag about it and ruin it for me they're dead.

Max, I totally agree with this and feel the same way, however, I will make a prediction.......you will pick up the game at midnite with the full intention of going to bed and then you will open it in the car on the way home.......and then when you get home the curiosity will be too much for you and you'll say to yourself, "self, just put the game on for a few minutes to see what it looks like".....and then the next thing you know it will be after 2:00AM and you will say "****", I'm gonna be exausted tomorrow for that big meeting and be tempted to pull an all nighter but then common sense will take over and you will go to bed just after 2:00 AM......... :rofl:

On the teem forums I go on, some ******* has the leaked version and posted some screenshots :argue1: Going to get into a big fight with him soon. I hate all these fools getting the leaked version/ early copies. Why can't you wait like everyone else?! :mad: .
