Anyone Starting off on Legendary??

Yup, always start off on the hardest levels. What can I say I love the aggravation. I won't even get a sniff of single player until many hours of online goodness are completed. I took two weeks vacation so I will be gaming my arse off. Halo 2 then Ghost Recon 2 when it comes out.

Normal to get past the campaign before dealing with spoils.....multiplayer for a while...then legendary *****es.

I'm going for Heroic first, inbetween Normal and Legandary. Doesn't feel to easy, but doesn't make me want to snap my pad either. Just right. :)

Not sure yet. If I end up playing through it co-op, then yeah, definately have to do it on legendary. Solo, I'll probably go with heroic. Though it's tempting to start on normal just so I can see the whole story first, then play on harder levels.

OXM stated that if you play the FP game that it enriches the multiplayer game somehow... OXM said that it will leave the riddle solving to us... I wonder what they meant by that?

I believe that this means that when you beat the campaign you will unlock new multiplayer levels and/or gametypes.

u know how if you beat the game on halo 1 it gave u different colored armor. Here's my guess for halo 2

unlockable levels, more pictures to chose from for MCs armor, possibly more armor colors... and that's it.

We have already been told there's unlockable levels... so the others are the speculations

Man I hope that playing on legendary will not give you more stuff, i want to just be able to play on normal once and get everything for beating the game.

Legendary via Co-op right out of the gate. I won't even touch multi-player until it's completed. I won't be able to even begin the quest until myself and a buddy get off of work tomorrow, 11/9.

I realize that Halo 2's Legendary is supposedly tougher than Halo 1's Legendary mode, but, I figure with Co-op, it shouldn't be too tough. My best buddy is also a hardcore Halo player...so, it should be quite doable.

did you kno that you cannot kill each other anymore when you guys are low on health? thats for legendary only. thats what i heard i guess.

Go to a quiet place, no enemies on radar, melee team mate in back froma distance where you won't pick up their ammo, then when they respawn, they collect their stuff then do the same to you lol.

Heroic, Legendary is far too frustratiing to start off with for me.

After I finish Heroic, I'll go online with the bad boy, until then, ima hold off no douche bags ruining the story for me. (already had one on DOA: U.... Casper was there... :cry: )

I don't think you got different colored armor in Halo.... I think they just meant you will get the new maps.

And I am starting on legendary right away, and its gonna be a pain cause theres gonna be no more of the partner charges while you stand back technique ;)

I dont think that will help as the health bar is gone.
