I Hate Sore Losers...

So I was at a Halo/Halo 2 LAN last night with 15 other people. First we played a Halo tourny which I got 5th in. Then we switched over to Halo 2 just to play, no tourny or nothing. So after a game of swords and a 4 way team slayer match the person who was hosting the LAN (it was his birthday party) wanted some CTF. So we play 8 vs 8 CTF on Coagulation since there were a couple people who never played Halo 2 there. Ok, my team had a 7 year old kid who couldnt play and a friend of mine who has played Halo 2 once. Basically my team had 6 people. Still we raped the hell out of them the whole time. We needed one more capture to win (they had 0) and all of the sudden they all just disconnect and come downstairs *****ing about how its unfair, they were used to playing Halo 1, blah, blah, blah. We just got up, took our TV, router, and all the cables we brought, and left. The guy got all pissed since they couldnt LAN anymore and slammed to door when we walked out. We went to my friends house and played on Live and all was good...

It was like he expected us to just LET his team win. :rolleyes:

That really ticks me off. I was doing a rumble slayer and there was a guy a level ahead of me in the game. We where tied the whole way through the game.
It was getting annoying the here that voice say:

Over and over again the whole game through.
The last 3 seconds of the game we where tied and he killed someone right as I was killing him, and he got his point, but the game was over right when my killing melee landed.
He called me a sucky noob and that I was no match for him. Give me a break.

Someone called me a few really horrible slurs and bad names because I beat him by a point to take 1st place and he was 2 levels higher than me.

I feel your pain. The one's trash talking don't seem to realize that there are a lot of adults playing online, so they treat everyone like they would treat their little junior high buddies. If they knew they were talking to a soldier in the U.S. Coast Guard I guarantee they'd have a little more trouble throwing insults.

We played rockets of all things to choose teams for CTF. and then they stacked the opposite team. and we one and then they got pissed cause we had a victory shout.

When we play here in our dorm, there is always **** talking going on, but its all in good fun and expected cheering and **** talking.

Somehow I doubt it. The level of stupidity I observe when I play makes me think that even if I where the Pope playing these games, they still call me some really uncalled for names.

sometimes when I'd beat kids they'd call me obsessed and just mess around in vehicles the whole game and make it not fun.... but there's nothing you can do about it.
