I was hoping for a better score, but I will still probably pick this game up.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time ranks among the very best console action-adventure games of this generation.. Thats part of the review

Sands of Time is the first POP, released last November. This one is Warrior Within.

Not sure if I interpreted what you were saying correctly, but I thought you might have got the titles confused.

It may have a extra sense of NG with the blood spilling and all, but nothing major. It'll still feel like the Sands of Time more than that.

I have to admit. The demo didn't blow me away. I may wait on this one too.

Found POP:SoT extremely repetitive and the acrobatic "puzzles" boring. They need to take a lesson from the Zelda series.

I agree with Spartan, the first one was fun for a while, but became repetitive and boring. There's no way I pay $50+ bucks for the second, which is being described as a step backwards.

Haha, paying $50 for PoP:SoT. Who on Earth would do something that stupid? I got it for free you fools! :p (go XBA)

I think you're confused, Warrior Within is ~ 50 bucks, Sands of Time you could probably find for ~ 20.

I liked pop sands, I will give this one a try when I have the time. Nothing I am in a rush to play. I got halo2 online, beyond good and evil going...

The demo is a poor example of what Warrior Within will actually be...and I think they made a mistake releasing it.
P.S. I'll be picking it up!

I agree with you guys the demo wasn't anything special, I'm going to rent to get a better feel for it before I buy it

Sands of time was the fourth POP game.

I loved the first. I'm definately gonna check this one out. Besides, one of the main reasons the guy didn't like it was because he said the badass-ness of the Prince is "forced" down from start to finish. That and he says beotch! Oh my!

I loved the first game but the queerness of the prince was pretty blatant. So now he's badass and people aren't liking that either. It might have been better if the developers settled on a median.

I would assume it got a lower score due to the fact that it was both more of the same and it took one hell of a drastic overhaul in terms of style and art direction. That doesn't mean it's a bad game, I'm sure it's great and I plan to pick it up for sure, but I bet that it's kinda 'samey' compared to the last PoP.
