Teh Gheyspot Review of KOTOR 2!!!!

I just looked at the little box, and GFX got a 6, that must be their main peeve with the game.

Most people don't go there for honost reviews, they go there just to laugh at how badly they rate good XBox games. Althought, this is just me speaking here, people like Greggy-boy here rating good games with "rental-worthy" scores just pisses me off.

I seriously pity anyone who takes Gamespot's reviews seriously.

Kotor, the first, rocked so hard that any sequel is going to let you down.

The campaign in the first Halo kicked ass because it introduced you to this space, this place in time. You felt like you were battling aliens on some freakish ring world. It was all new, fresh.

So, w/ Kotor under some of our belts a number of times, nothing could rock us like the story in the first. Nothing. One of the most clever, interesting, and existential motifs of the modern man's existence is powerfully delivered. I mean, and you Kotor buffs know this, that the entire ride is derailed so powerfully, so entirely, at the end third of the first fame that we cannot expect another left hook like it.

We'd be crazy to expect it.

But we can hope for new characters, a revamped Force power system, the ability to sway your crew to dark or light, new planets, new weapons....and most importantly, more Kotor.

I thanked God for Star Wars once when I was a wee, dorky child. That same, older child thanks him again for another chance to stroll through this malleable, questioning universe one more time.
