LucasArts and Pandemic Studios have announced they are working on a new update for Star Wars Battlefront that will increase the simultaneous player capability to 32. The new feature will require that the player hosting the game has at least both an up- and downstream of 1.5 megabit. Such a bandwidth guarantees no lag for all players.
The update will also include a new map already released to the PC version that sends players back to the desert planet of Tatooine; Jabba’s Palace. The action will include battles with Gamorrean Guards, the dreaded Rancor and even an appearance by Jabba the Hutt.
